This book came as a softcover edition with my Holga. There are some nifty tips and tricks for using the camera and some of the photography is really nice. I agree with other people here that the last half of the book is filled with people raving about the Holga, so it's not necessarily super interesting because it gets to be repetitive. Yes, Holgas are cool, but instead of just sitting around reading the second half of the book, go out and take some of your own pictures.

This book is not quite what I expected. It starts off well, with a brief background on the camera and some tips on various techniques. However, nearly half of the book is dedicated to short biographies of Holga users, which range from boring to pretentious.

A book about lomography. Generally quite fun pics, and I was impressed by the DIY modifications people make to their camera, but film photography is prohibitively expensive these days -- it wasn't cheap even before digital made it a niche interest -- so I think I'll remain a spectator.

I thought this book would provide some techniques for photographing with the Holga camera. I really don't know what this book was supposed to be. The book mostly consists of comments by people trying to be cool. Really nothing of substance here. Some of the photos are interesting to see, but that's the only redeeming feature of this book. Not recommended.

Good book for getting you excited about Holga cameras and Lomography. Cool images and some interesting tips.

But the section on personalities/people within the Lomographic community was a bit boring and repetitive as they tend to say the same things over and over.
