When Gage Wellton visits buddy Corey Cassidy for a fun-filled weekend in New York City, Corey’s life is turned upside down. The rodeo champion steals his heart, and Corey asks him to move to the big city. But Gage has obligations in Kansas, and he returns home, leaving Corey behind.
Gage is struggling as well—how can a closeted, gay cowboy survive in a straight man’s world? It will take another visit with Corey for Gage to see he's in love with the city boy. Can love be enough to make one man change his entire life for another?

I found this book to be really hard going. To me it read like a clinical report, totally dispassionate. It wasn't a story, more like cold, hard facts slapped on a page, it was hard to even like the characters. Some of the words used both in the dialogue and narration were so out of character for what I would expect from a cowboy, I found it distracting.
