Reinventing Food: Ferran Adriá: The Man Who Changed the Way We Eat

Rate this book
This book charts his culinary revolution from his very beginnings as a cook in the military service to the huge success of El Bulli restaurant. Though countless words have already been written about the avant-garde experimentalist - Colman Andrews offers a more personal portrait. The biography is an enlightening, intimate account of how a man with initially no desire to become a chef rose to become one of the most influential talents of our time.

Great insight into such a creative mind from an interesting perspective. Well worth the read not just if you love food but also if you enjoy understanding how people approach the act of creation.

Wow, a deeply immersive telling that plunged me into the Spanish seaside and made me never want to leave. The first chapter was a bit of a trudge to get through but after I was hooked
