This is a graphic novel reprint of the first 6 issues and 15 and 16 of the Marvel comics’ version of BSG from the 70s. It is very similar in style to the Marvel version of Star Wars. The stories get shortened but are still recognisable, though this is not necessarily true for all the characters. It is fun, and a good nostalgia trip. It is a retelling of the pilot/movie and the episode on Kobol, and 2 new stories. The first of the new stories is an interesting story just about Boomer, and the 2nd is a rather odd story about a super cylon hidden away on the edge of space (defeated by Apollo). But it's a good fun read, and nice and nostalgic. It has a great intro by Richard Hatch as well as a bibliography of the original BSG novels (will have to track more down), Toys etc. Definitely the type of thing you should read on Christmas morning. :)
