After the abolishment of racial separation policy, different forces break arguments frequently. Mandela and Declercq striving for creating a new South Africa, however, fall in situations of endless arguments and increasingly isolation. They had achieved remarkable contributions to seeking and pushing forward democratic process though didn't establish a model cooperation relation to realize reconciliation between different peoples. During this process, even their hopes for each other eliminate sometimes and results in hostility, but their highly political responsibility enable to compromise and tolerate for the future of South Africa.
