I'm sorry, but FIREFIGHTERS?? plus hardcore one-sided love of a nonchalant guy? Plus rivals to lovers? PLUS KAMOME OSHIMA ANGST? I'm hot. I'm not sure if I'm burning because of this, or it's the fact that I'm currently sick and still read it anyway because I can't sleep again (like I was out like a light for like 18 hours?) I decided to read this yaoi and bam! I'm not regretting anything. My only problem was it was too short for me, like I wanna see them really lovey-dovey after all the wars and fights, ya know? Not just the hot stuff. I felt, Kamome always fell too short at the end.

ALSO, BEAUTIFUL ART STYLE!! I liked Aien Catharsis, I knew I'm gonna like it too!

A firefighters, rivals to lovers & accidental neighbours, BL manga which I was excited to read 😍.
Adult yaoi mangas are hard enough to find, but ones with first responders? So rare 😂. Especially with its tropes 😃. It's got secret crush 🤭 too. Devoured it in 1hr!

Yajima is competitive, loud. Torikai is relatively nonchalant, lonely. Torikai's always been labelled ambitious 🥹, only Yajima could match him... They train together, fight but is there secretly more...? Can it be... One sided love *gasp*. So much bickering 😂, I like how the friends are fed up 😌.

"The illegal disposal of Yajima" was hilarious 😂. Gosh, I love this author. We get a clear "I'm gay", atleast from 1 🥹. The other def is bi, tho he doesn't say that... Also that uncle was lucky they were close 😩. I was scared!

This goes from dubcon to drunk wrestling to full on consent. Hotties riled up & lube 🤭. Got me worried but then sigh of relief! It's fun, unexpectedly hits in feels too as emotions are revealed & realised. I'm glad oblivious don't remain it for long 😂.

Aw but we only saw 1 ILY, when will Y reply?! It's short but Vol 1 ends with them together, kinda dating but not called bfs yet... This encompassed the end of their firefighter training & gave us HFN ending. I'm looking forward to vol 2.

I was very surprised when I read this manga. I knew my dear friends liked it so much, but for some reason I was not really convinced. I was soooo wrong. This manga is so f good! I loved their interactions, their chemistry, the tension between them, everything! Kamome Oshima-sensei is really marvelous!

Lo leí porque me saltó en como recomendaciones en similares a フェイクファクトリップス Fake Fact Lips , y, si bien tiene un aire a Fake Fact Lips, la realidad es que no podés comparar una obra maestra con una simple imitación. Fake Fact Lips va a ser por siempre superior, pero eso no quita que este manga también fue una lectura entretenida, aunque fue una lectura más; non se destacó en nada.

1 tom mangi Contradict otrzymałam od wydawnictwa Kotori w ramach współpracy reklamowej i chociaż lubię czasem przeczytać boys love dla dojrzałego czytelnika, to trochę podchodziłam do tego z dozą obaw. No bo na okładce wygląda, jakby jeden z tych panów, miedzy którymi ma być romans nie wygląda na zadowolonego, że ten drugi się do niego dobiera. To narzuca pewien ton na dzień dobry, dlatego, kiedy główni bohaterowie po pijaku uprawiają seks to miałam obawy, czy jest to wydarzenia za zgodą obu. Na szczęście bohaterowie szybko maja rozmowę, że oboje tego chcieli i oboje byli pijani i stało się, więc przynajmniej o tyle mogłam odetchnąć. Okazuje się jednak, że to zagranie z okładki i pierwsze doświadczenia bohaterów mają sens , bo autorka wodzi czytelnika za nos i z każdą kolejną stroną zaczyna nam się malować inna historia.

No, ale to nie sam romans głównych bohaterów sprawia, że komiks czyta się dobrze, bo mamy tu też motyw ... gorącej rywalizacji (hehe), której nawet woda nie jest w stanie ugasić, a mogłaby, bo mówimy tu o strażakach! Torikai i Yajima razem szkolili się już na strażaków - obaj przystojni, obaj bardzo ambitni, jeden skromny, ale przyciągający uwagę sukcesami, drugi chcący atencji, równie utalentowany, ale nie wstydzący się tego, że jest dobry. Po ciagłej walce o to, który jest lepszy ich drogi rozchodzą się na jakiś czas aż do momentu, kiedy obaj nie przystępują do szkolenia do specjalnej jednostki strażackiej. Szkolenia, które wyciska z nich ostatnie poty, szkolenia, przez które zaczynają mieszkać po sąsiedzku, szkolenia, które ożywia ich starą rywalizację, który z nich jest lepszy. Niestety ich popisy sprawiają, że cała grupa dostaje za karę mnóstwo dodatkowych ćwiczeń, dlatego postanawiają jakoś pogodzić naszych bohaterów popijawą w ich mieszkaniach... a jak ta popijawa się kończy już wspominałam.

Jest to pierwszy tom i z tego co zrozumiałam jest jeszcze kolejny, ale w pewien sposób i w tym można uznać wątki za zamknięte, gdyby ten 2 tom miał nigdy nie powstać. Dostajemy ładną kreskę, dużo scen ze strażakami, trochę wspomnień z przeszłości, które powoli budują nam obraz teraźniejszości. Koniec końców czytało się szybko i przyjemnie, więc jestem ciekawa kolejnego tomu

this bl manga was short and cute and fun!
it’s good, and the art is nice, but that’s about it. it’s only 6 short chapters; basically the beginning of what will (hopefully) be a happy relationship. •◡̎•

it’s just not particularly memorable other than the fact that i’ve never read a bl where the couple were firefighters. that’s unique!!!!
it provided such interesting settings for the backdrop of their blooming relationship!

the final chapter was actually my favorite. i thought the smut was good, i loved the simple way of promising a future relationship (“when’s your next day off? i want to match it up with mine..”), and the fact they both love firefighting so much. enough to detour their plans to ensure a candle festival is safe.. lol??

if you need something to read while boredly eating ice cream on a weeknight the way i did, you can’t really go wrong!

Feuerwehrmänner :D direkt ein Pluspunkt *snigger*.
Der Band ist ganz spaßig zu lesen, allerdings haben beide enorme Kommunikationsprobleme x,D like so much. So der ganze nicht abgefragte Consent würde vermutlich einige auf die Palme bringen, also lest es halt nicht, ich hatte jedenfalls Spaß.
Beide sind Idioten, vorallem was Beziehungen angeht, die Liebesstory ist ein wenig arg weit hergeholt (und nicht nachvollziehbar, but hey), dafür sind beide aber wenigstens mal nicht so UWU sondern geraten ständig aneinander, was eben den Spaß ausmacht. N wenig mehr Action hätte ich schon gern gesehen, aber vielleicht kommt das in nachfolgenden Bänden, wenn sie nicht die Ausbildung machen sondern wieder richtig arbeiten.

BL amb clixé d'enemics a amants un pèl inversemblant, però m'ha agradat veure un tipus de bomber que se surt de l'heteronormativitat més suada. Més enllà d'això, com que és un volum únic el final és força abrupte i el ritme massa accelerat, però és una lectura prou amena.

Chochinho. A história é curta, mas não tem carisma. Não consegui criar simpatia pelos personagens e fiquei totalmente apática do começo ao fim, muito fraquinha. A arte é bonita, mas é só isso que vale a pena a leitura 👍

Pretty good rivals to lovers story. Really like how they wanted to improve as firefighters because of each other. I like the change in perspective to see Torikai's unrequited love develop.
