À quel animal appartiennent ces pattes ? Les tout-petits vont adorer deviner les animaux auxquels appartiennent ces pattes si particulières dans cet ouvrage sous forme de questions/réponses, ludique et très richement illustré !
This is a cute book with a cute idea, but the picture inside of the "duck" is actually a white goose. And less obviously, the picture of the "leopard" is actually a jaguar (leopards do not have spots inside of their rosette spots). These may seem like small details, but when it's an animal book with only five animals and two of them are pictures of the wrong animal, that's pretty egregious. Where was the editor?
Little ones will enjoy playing the guessing game created by the questions and photographs in this board book. The book shows just a small part of five different animals, one by one, and readers must guess what animal it is just from its feet. The text is large in size and easy to read while the photographs are colorful and large, allowing readers to pay attention to the unique physical features of the animals. Because the animals are shown in a double-page spread, they almost seem to pop right out at readers. Once youngsters have seen this book, they will want all the others from the publisher. The book offers a good visual introduction to animals and one type of appendage.
My 18-month-old LOVES this book! The photographs are very high quality, the format is like a guessing game, and there are just enough pages (5 animals worth) for him to stay with me for the whole book.
