There might be nothing more fascinating than the wings of the various creatures that flit and fly around us. In this board book, youngsters are able to look at a portion of the wings of five animals--a dragonfly, a bat, a butterfly, a parrot, and a flamingo--and guess to which one they belong. When they turn the page, they will be able to determine whether their guess was correct. The text appears in a large font, and the photographs are colorful, allowing readers to sharpen their prediction skills, draw on their prior knowledge, and marvel at some of these wonders that appear in our everyday lives. Primary teachers and caregivers will certainly want to add this sturdy board book to their collection. I'm sure they will enjoy looking at the book just as much as its intended younger audience.
