À quel animal appartiennent ces ailes ? Les tout-petits vont adorer deviner les animaux auxquels appartiennent ces ailes si particulières dans cet ouvrage sous forme de questions/réponses, ludique et très richement illustré !
There might be nothing more fascinating than the wings of the various creatures that flit and fly around us. In this board book, youngsters are able to look at a portion of the wings of five animals--a dragonfly, a bat, a butterfly, a parrot, and a flamingo--and guess to which one they belong. When they turn the page, they will be able to determine whether their guess was correct. The text appears in a large font, and the photographs are colorful, allowing readers to sharpen their prediction skills, draw on their prior knowledge, and marvel at some of these wonders that appear in our everyday lives. Primary teachers and caregivers will certainly want to add this sturdy board book to their collection. I'm sure they will enjoy looking at the book just as much as its intended younger audience.
A close-up photograph is shown of different five animals -- a dragonfly, a bat, a butterfly, a parrot, and a flamingo -- and readers are to guess the animal shown. A useful book for preschool units on wings or animal flight.
Reading this after the zoo safari where we saw flamingos and a dragonfly flew into the van was timely. It’s a fun read even with older kids, though a quick one.
While there's a disappointing lack of Paul and Linda McCartney, WINGS is nonetheless a fun nature guessing-game book that features wonderful photos of a variety of wildlife.
