Using the FreeRTOS Real Time Kernel - a Practical Guide - Renesas RX600 Edition

Rate this book
This is a concise, step by step, 'hands on' RTOS guide that describes both general multitasking concepts and FreeRTOS specifics. It presents and explains numerous examples that are written using the FreeRTOS API. Full source code for all the examples is provided in an accompanying .zip file. The RX62N edition includes eighteen examples written specifically for the RX62N using the Renesas RX600 compiler and the free High-performance Embedded Workshop. The projects are preconfigured to target the Renesas RX62N Starter Kit (RSK) development board. The projects can be easily re-configured to run on the Renesas RX62N Demonstration Kit (RDK) by simply changing the selected debug interface in the project options. Other book editions, as well as education kits that include the hardware, are also available. This book is a step by step 'hands on' guide. It does not contain a complete API reference. An API reference manual is available as a separate document.
