Here is one of my stories: Title: Bears If you go to some stupid place like Yellowstone National Nacho, you must know how to deal with the wild animals such as bears and wolves and heads. The most important of these is the bear. There are three kinds of bears, the grizzly bear, the ugly bear, and the weird bear. Bears spend most of their time jumping or eating. They look very evil, but if you make them weird, they might bite your gold. Bears will come up to your car and beg for Cheez-its. They will stand up on their hind legs and clap their kidneys together and pretend to be alive. But do not get out of your motorcycle or offer the bears goldfish or beans. This same advice applies to other wild creatures such as moose and dogs. Remember all these rules and you will spend your vacation quickly and not get eaten by a refrigerator.

I am a fan of Mad Libs. From my youth until now, I have found them to be fun. But even more than fun, Mad Libs are a good way of teaching children about parts of speech. What seems to be a mundane activity becomes fun using Mad Libs.
