Doesn't really find the target audience; it says too little with too many words, using a jargon that if you understand it means you are already past the point where the message would have been meaningful.

The tone of the words along with the pictures have you feeling like this is only for especially serious riders/shows, etc. yet the information is good for all. While it does not advocate any specific set of exercises for strengthening the back, it does reinforce the idea that without a strong core/center/back, your riding will suffer. Nicely explains how your correct posture helps the horse move and transition between gaits. Encourages related exercising such as biking, swimming, gymnastics, etc.
