Almost gave up on this book several times, due to my lack of interest re the characters. Finally, two-thirds of the way in.... enough action and unexpected circumstances to keep me plowing through. Too many redundant phrases that added zip to the plot.

Bought this book around 2017 or 2018, pero ngayon ko lang naisipang basahin. Sapagkat medyo expected naman na ang magiging istorya, still, mapapa-hook ka pa rin sa story kasi syempre gusto mo malaman paano ang gagawing paglaban ni Holly upang maibalik sa kanya ang isa sa mahalagang tao sa kanya, aside sa buhay ng kanyang asawang si Alex.

Hindi man ito yung the best na thriller story since mukhang matagal na nung na-publish, nanatili pa rin ako para i-cheer at suportahan si Mareng Holly; kainisan at i-wish na hindi magtagumpay si Mareng Celia. (+SO kina kuya mo Greg at ate girl mo Buffy sa inyong part!!)

Holly was due any time now with her first child when her husband leaves to go to court about his ex wife. While on his way his plane goes down and he dies. Now the search is on to find out why it happened. While Holly waits for news and her baby she is dealing with a business not doing well, a partner she doesn't know how will help her, and a strange suffocating new neighbor. How can she handle all this and it not affect her child. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.

This was a pretty good thriller story. I wasn't sure if I would like it at the time I read it, but I honestly couldn't put it down. Good read.
