The microprocessor has been the critical factor in the development of the personal computer, cable television, the cellular telephone, medical instrumentation and many other products that define modern life. The CD-ROM runs on both Macintosh and DOS-Windows platforms, including PowerMacs and Pentiums. Double-speed CD-ROM drives are recommended for the best quality viewing and monitors with 640 x 480 colour @ 256 colours, with 32,000 colours are preferred. 8MB Ram, with 4MB of this allocated to the application is needed. PCs require a sound card and speakers.
