Another favorite of mine...my copy is well worn and missing a few pieces of the cover. I go back to read this one every blue moon.

It was good, but too long, could have been about 100 pages shorter. It also got way too melodramatic at the end, and I got sick of the OM/Villain turning up all the time like a bad penny (or rather, a piece of smelly turd). it took WAY too long for him to get what he deserved!
The African history was interesting, though, as well as learning something of the culture and people, and a few Swahili words here and there.
Good story, but flawed.
