Election Reflections: Verse For The Victims

These poems were written during an Australian election. They are thus an a response to blatant hypocrisy and well crafted subterfuge.The writer has lived through many changes of government. Time is often a teacher and faulty behaviour is more than once repeated. There are no first time allusions in these humble works. The follies referred to in the poems have happened many times. Perhaps that is why a gentle hope exists that every misdemeanour revealed will consequently no longer be a part of human experience.
