Nashville Days is book one in the Music City Lovers series by Julie Capulet. Meet the Tucker Brothers, three brothers who make up the nation’s hottest county rock band. Travis is the lead singer, Vaughn on drums and Kade on bass. This book is Travis’s story, along with Ruby, the woman who brought him to his knees.

First of all, get those fans ready, this is a hot one. The attraction isn’t just physical between these two but it’s how they initially connect, and connect they do! I loved the impact Ruby had on Travis. He just couldn’t figure out what was happening to him! But I also loved that he just accepted it. That Ruby was it, she was his life, and no one or nothing would get in the way of that.
I can’t wait to get to know the other two brother’s stories. Coming next, Nashville Dreams.

I was expecting va va vom, sexy Travis & his attitude, a book that was going to be extremely fun to read.
***There definitely were some really funny parts in the book, but overall, it wasn't Julie Capulet 's best.
The story felt a little glazed over & kind of happened too fast, I wasn't feeling it. I couldn't really connect with the story.
***I can’t believe that I’m going to say this but, I felt like at times I was reading teen romance. There were too many so call Steamy Scenes… if these two weren’t trying to get into each other’s pants , there were fantasizing about how to get into each other’s pants…… after saying all that I truly not ready to give up yet on this author, just cuz I didn’t like or connect with the story
📚 Hope you enjoy this read & also always keep in mind this is just my opinion+ Also I wouldn’t never discourage anyone from reading this book.

Sigh- an obsessed singer who only wants the h? Yes please
Oh. Lordt. Take the wheel! Why I was hesitant to read this SAFE scrumptious, STEAMY rockstar romance is beyond me. Once I met Travis, I couldn’t read him fast enough. Now THIS is the type of musician romance I love to read- one that ignores the famous life and dedicates his every waking moment to his woman- and one that’s willing to physically fight any man that gets in his way 😈.
Ruby just graduated from a reform school and has been locked away for four years. Being at the school meant many things: she was warned about sinning, she didn’t have any electronics/social media, and she wasn’t allowed to listen to music or learn about other current, pop culture things. She goes home and decides to continue working on her music- because this girl can sing, and she can write music as well as play the piano, which means she’ll get to sneak into her abandoned, next-door neighbor’s house that happens to have a piano. Her goal is to become a musician, and after she earns some money, she’ll move to Nashville.
Travis and his brothers are famous, but there are negatives to this. He’s tired of the spotlight and needs to get away, so he buys a house outside of Nashville so that he can get some breathing room. He enters his new house and he’s met with not only a beautiful woman, but a talented one that can sing and write songs. He’s mesmerized by her, can’t stop thinking of her, and he wants her😉. In his life, in his bed, and in his career.
The connection is INSTANT. This man, oh gawd, this man becomes OBSESSED with her 😅. The fact that she doesn’t know who he is only adds to her allure and he gets hooked WAY FASTER than her. Their chemistry is visceral, raw, and PRIMAL 🔥. She might be a v, but their connection transcends her inexperience. Yes, their smexxy times are incredibly steamy and dirty 🥵 but they’re also passionate and sensual🤤. Gawd, when Travis takes control, he TAKES CONTROL 🔥🥵. He slows them down and ensures that not only their bodies connect, but their hearts and souls as well. Jeeeezus, I loved it all (especially when he makes sure his woman is taken care of before 😉💦).
They have some obstacles to overcome, but Travis isn’t gonna let anything get in his way to keep his woman: not fame, not fortune, not groupies or their pasts, and I loved that. Plus, he’s her #1 fan. SWOOOOON!!!! 🥺❤️❤️ I love me a man that’s willing to step back to let his woman shine 🥰🥰🥰yas Travis 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

Nashville days were full with lust and sexiness!! An easy and steamy romance read.
Travis and Ruby had an insta love relationship and it was really explosive, with no angst.
The depth and development were not adequate and there were a few plot holes in the story and some unrealistic parts...

🌟Brief Summary:
Travis is a rockstar with ALL the goes with it. Excess on all levels but he’s feeling a lack of enthusiasm for writing, Groupies, music and life in general. So to get some R&R time and maybe some inspiration he buys a ranch as an escape.
Ruby is young and extremely sheltered. Like… no music, friends, phone,TV or social life. She been in a boarding school known to cut out all outside influences. She just graduated with the goal of pursuing her dreams and living her life to the fullest. When one day she meets her new next door neighbor and the connection is immediate.
They connect over music, writing and singing as well as an Insta- lust connection.

This was sweet a read! Exactly what we have come to love about JC work.
I’m glad we get a safe Rockstar read, well as safe as you can get with a rockstars sexual history.
And it was SO needed.
At first it felt a little pervy or predatory to me. They connect instantly but she is so innocent and he knows exactly what he is doing to lure her in. So at first I was like😬.
What I Liked/Loved
-One thing I loved was that Ruby knows she wants these new experiences and she wants them with him. She is VERY 🫶🏻sure of she wants and where she is going so I like that she didn’t go into to things w Travis blind. She didn’t even want love or relationship just experiences.
-💗He fall first yay
-Their❤️🔥 connection it way deeper than just lust they have so much in common.
-Travis is OTT JP 😍 can’t go more than a few hours without her. Can’t stop thinking about her. It’s messing with his grove.
-Groupies who⁉️we get a scene where he declines groupies right after meeting the h. He’s just not interested anymore.
-Their Chemistry was ⚡️Electric!
-How sweet H was when he took her V.
Things I DIDNT Like
-Hated 😡 the groupie scene (see below under OWD)
-Hated to see all of the brothers sexual conquests 🤮 since we get their books and to me you can’t un-see it EVER. I really don’t like to have OW sex shoved into my face, future character or not.
-I’m not a fan of a manwhore but I really hate it when the H constantly talks about his conquest and experiences with OW in his monologue. It’s a turn off for me!

At this point he turns away from their advances but not aggressively. Then 1 OW whispers in his ear and touches his face. When H sees the h he starts more aggressively pushing the girls off him but his ENTIRE efforts are weak at best.
😡This pisses me off cause the h is innocent and was a V. She can’t even have a guy look at her without sending him into a jealous rage but he lets these woman touch him. Then he says … they weren’t touching me….and tells her she was overreacting.
Now he didn’t want those girls and he did tell the h she was right and he would be more aggressive next time. But still I felt that it shouldn’t have happened. Especially since in a scene before this when the h isn’t around we see his thwart a groupies advances. So it makes scenes to be even more aggressive while she is there.

I loved how Travis first didn’t know what to do with the shot to the heart he received upon seeing Ruby and then, after being unable to function without thinking of her, he accepted it and gave himself to her fully.
I can’t wait to read more about the rest of the Tucker brothers!

I was so excited to read this entire series, when first approached by Julie. And because I am an impatient person, I couldn't wait to dive in.
The writing was addictive, just as I'd hoped. The FMC was definitely a strong character, eager to fight for her dreams despite being thrown away in a convent, after some problems in her family. The hero was flawed, and just wanted to get away after dealing with his own set of crazy brothers, which he did and then saw the FMC.
Which was great and all. I definitely enjoyed the spark they had the first time they met.
But then this is where things went downhill.
There was romance, but it seemed only of the physical kind. Constant physical romance.
It was like no emotional romance may exist, only s** dominated the show. Which left me quite disappointed as initially, both the MCs had such a promising story individually and together.
But then had sort of derailed and turned into a book only known for s**.
The writing had been the saving grace for this one, otherwise I don't know how I would've managed to continue.
Regardless, I do look forward to catching up on the other books in the series, and pray they are better than this one.

And when she finds out his "secret" she isn't mad she's more in shock but they do have some tiny problems the groupies.. same girl don't touch my man.. 🤣🤣🤣

I love Julie's books and this one was another winner! Her Heros are always strong, possessive AF and Travis was just perfect! The jaded Rockstar knew exactly what he wanted when he saw the ethereal beauty singing at his piano. Her innocence and purity dissolved the cynicism surrounding his heart and brought out tendencies he had never felt before. When he growled out, "Mine!" , my heart swelled twice it's size. To him, she was an angel flying too close to the ground.
Sweet Ruby, the youngest of 4 girls, barely legal and just graduated from a strict Catholic boarding school. About as naive as one can be, but very strong willed and knows what she wants. Very sensual without realizing it. Travis and Ruby are as combustible as tinder to a match! And man do they burn! The chemistry between these two is insane and I was glued to each page as their relationship progressed!
Ruby wants to go to Nashville and become a star and knows she has the talent. She doesn't want anything to keep her from her dreams. Travis knows she has the talent but he wants to keep her all to herself as long as he can. She has no idea who he is and he wants to keep it that way as long as he can. Her friend Chase has been waiting for her to come home and thinks they will be together. Travis DOES NOT SHARE what's his! We do end up with a HEA and an Epilogue which I always am a huge fan of!

Ms. Capulet has done it again with insta-lust/love goodness! Within the first couple of chapters, I was pulled so far in, I didn’t want to put my kindle down.
Sexy as sin musician Travis Tucker is one of three (gorgeous AF!) brothers in a band. We caught glimpses of him in Julie’s McCabe Brothers series. And I couldn’t wait to hear his story.
He discovers the most beautiful, angelic woman playing the piano in the house he’s just recently purchased. He’s mesmerized. Hypnotized. And determined to somehow snag her and keep her.
Travis was everything I was hoping for and more. If you know me, you know I love my rock star/musician romances. And Travis being a sexy musician was just icing on the cake. Yes, he’s HOT AF, but he’s more than that. His determination was admirable, his passion was intense, and his dirty mind was absolutely DELICIOUS. And his jealousy and obsessiveness? Yeah, that was actually cute.
Some of the things that came out of his mouth surprised me, in a very good & naughty way. I was like, did he just say that? And sure enough, he did. And my gahd it was wonderful. I couldn’t get enough of his filthy mouth and his dirty, dirty mind.
Then there’s innocent and inexperienced Ruby...she was ready to explore. Since she’d been tucked away at boarding school, away from any social media, news, or current events, she was clueless to...pretty much everything.
She had a sort of ‘awakening’ and knew what her body wanted, what it needed, what it craved. Even though she was young, she was more than ready. At least she wasn’t clueless about that.
The timing of their meeting was perfect. It couldn’t happened at a better time, for both of them.
Their chemistry was pure fire. They couldn’t stay away from each other. He couldn’t get her off his mind. She felt the same and wanted more of him...in every way possible.
The connection and love and passion this author creates between her main characters always blows me away. And it was no different with Travis & Ruby. I felt everything and it was intoxicating and addictive. The steamy scenes were off the charts scorching hot. Seriously.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story of two delightfully talented souls coming together and making beautiful music together. I loved experiencing their journey to happiness.

This was my first book by this author, but I will be going back to read more of her work. The pacing was just right, the characters were well developed, and I enjoyed their story immensely. It is written in first person from a dual POV. It is a wonderful insta-love/YA/NA story that readers will love.
Travis is a jaded star at the ripe old age of 25. He takes a break by buying a farmhouse and is blown away when he walks in and finds an angel singing at the grand piano. I love that he falls immediately and extremely hard, even though he doesn’t realize that is what has happened to him. I love his mixed emotions as he muddles through the next few days but can’t get his rattled mind put back together because of her. I love how protective and alpha-possessive he quickly becomes of her. I love that he is all-in from the very beginning.
Ruby is only 18, and she has been sheltered in a way that would be hard to believe if she were any older, so it works for the story. She is incredibly naive and innocent, and she is experiencing the awakening of her own sexuality when she meets Travis. He become her first everything. But Ruby is also driven by the dream she has, and the ambition to see the success she just knows is waiting for her.
The chemistry between the two characters is hot and the scenes as they come together could melt your Kindle. I love the way this becomes a first and final love for both of them as they pursue their relationship and Ruby’s dream. I am definitely looking forward to more books in this series.

Another great OTT romance by Julie Capulet. The way she brings her characters to life is realistic and fairytale. The build-up to a love relationship is intense and heartbreaking.
Travis is a singer who has made a name for himself in 3 years and sets one record after another. Women everywhere he looks want a piece of him. In the early years he thoroughly enjoyed it, but now he wants to rest and recharge his energy. He buys a vacant farm just outside of Nashville.
Ruby spent 4 years in a Catholic boarding school. Now she is 18 and has finished school. Inexperienced in the world around her, she plays her music and dreams of producing and singing her own music. In the abandoned farm she writes many of her songs on the piano that is there. Until the farm is bought.
The story of Travis and Ruby grabs you from the moment they see each other. The attraction is so strong you can feel it. Ruby's voyage of discovery in an unknown world is brilliant. And Travis enjoys the attention of a young woman who doesn't know him as the superstar he is.

a quick read
I loved Ruby and Travis. Hot rich 25yr old rock star falls for innocent 18yr old Ruby, fresh out of boarding school, run by the nuns. This was a very fast moving story. Lust at first sight and I love you being said within a few weeks. This was a light read with a bit of drama and lots of steamy, descriptive sex.

It’s not often I’m so enamored by a book of fiction that I literally can’t put it down. Julie Capulet’s Nashville Days did that to me and so much more. This book is emotionally draining in a very good way – it’s heavy, it’s light, it has humor, but most of all it’s about a young girl whose very innocence is her most attractive feature. She’s captivated an almost-jaded rock star who wants a happily ever after even if he didn’t realize it. She has dreams of independence and breaking away from the stifling life of her school days. And when Travis and Ruby come together, it’s combustible; it’s magical. I’ve read a lot of Capulet’s works, but I honestly believe this is her best so far, and I can’t wait for book 2.

Travis and Ruby have red hot chemistry from the moment they meet,and not just only between the sheets but Musically also.
Ruby is young, innocent and naive she has big plans for her future after graduating from a catholic boarding school,were she was shielded from the real world.An aspiring singer and song writer,Ruby had no idea that meeting her new neighbour would make all her dreams come true.
Travis is a big star he is in a successful band with his brothers,but at the moment he is just so tired and wants to get away from the chaos of touring,so spontaneously purchases a house that is in a remote location,somewhere he can have time to think and write songs.Little did he know he was about to meet the woman of his dreams and an obsession he didn't expect.
A whirlwind romance begins and a sexual awakening for Ruby and instant Love for Travis.
This story is Super Hot,and I really enjoyed it as it took me on a journey with this couple Julie Capulet captures the rockstar lifestyle perfectly and I was captivated by her words.
Travis is as Alpha as they come super sexy and very manly he was so protective of Ruby and very posessive it was almost smothering at times.But he had a good heart as he wanted to do everything to make her dreams of stardom come true and I loved him for that.Ruby's dreams mattered to him because she was important to him and that quality is very attractive.
Ruby was as wholesome and pure as they come,I think she took Travis by surprise she was quite endearing and we see her blossom under Travis's adoration.
They were electric together and their story is perfect to set the scene for up and coming books which is very exciting.
Nashville Days is the first of many incredible stories by Julie Capulet and I can't wait to read more.
This is an excellent book which I highly recommend.

*I read this book last fall and my review somehow didn't make the jump from Amazon to Goodreads...how dare it! So here's what I thought while away on vacation last October, gobbling this book up!!! I remember wanting to grab Nashville Days as soon as I could get my hands on it!! Have you seen that cover???
This was a hot, hot, hot, sexy and wonderfully fun instalove story that I blew through in no time at all. How could I resist this country/rock band scenario with a sweet, beautiful good girl who meets the gorgeous bad boy rocker in this romance by a new to me author? I couldn't!
My evening got a LOT hotter than it would have otherwise been. Can't wait for the next book in this irresistible to me series! Julie Capulet has drawn me into her world and I'll certainty be reading more from her!

So we’ve already met the McCabe brothers, and now we’re moving further down the family tree. Travis Tucker and his brothers are cousins to the McCabes. We are introduced to Travis in the last book, Arrogant Bastard. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure where Julie was going to take a story about a famous rockstar. He already had it all, what more could he want? Well, as it turns out, he wants Ruby. And Ruby he gets!
I fell in love with Travis from the first moment I met him. He’s genuine. He’s tired of the rockstar scene and just wants some piece and quiet. I read Nashville Nights (book 2) first, and then went back to read Nashville Days, and I am so glad that I read Travis and Ruby's story. Their relationship is mentioned a few times in Nashville Nights, so I'm happy that I finally got to get their backstory.
This book is a sweet, slow burn between a hot country star, and the sassy girl-next-door who captures his heart immediately. Ruby has no idea what she's in for when she gets involved with Travis. She's led such a sheltered life, having been away at boarding school for several years. Travis leads a lifestyle that she just can't fathom, and suddenly she's thrown into the spotlight when he buys the property next door to her family's farm.
I really liked this story -- but I felt that Travis and Ruby were lacking that *oomph* as individual characters and as a couple. I would have liked to have seen a bit more depth to their relationship, and since this was an instalove story, I felt like their love was kinda rushed. Still, I enjoyed this book, I just didn't like it as much as I liked Nashville Nights.

SUCH a cute book!!!! i really liked this book because it was a safe rockstar romance unlike the many ones i’ve read in the past, riddled w unnecessary drama. travis tucker is so charming ah! he was completely and obsessively head over heels for ruby which is definitely my type of hero. my type of man. he was absolutely amazing. in the beginning, i definitely thought this book was super weird since ruby was extremely innocent. like innocent to a point of not knowing what an orgasm is, which reminded me a lot of Jessa Kane’s books. other than that, this was a really good book that i devoured in no time at all! looking forward to continuing this series and especially reading Vaughn’s book. there’s just something about a reformed manwhore named Vaughn i just draw to 😋

I really enjoyed Travis and Ruby's story! There were hot and entertaining. I love that he was able to help her make her dreams come true.... I do with that there would have been more play up and angst with the Chase storyline. The fact that Travis was basically all in right from the beginning was a nice change of pace from most books out there. And when you figure out what is holding Ruby back..... well it did make my eyes sting a bit. Meanwhile you got to meet the other band members (aka Travis' family!) and I am quite eager to see what happens with them and if they are able to get their own HEA!

I loved Travis and Ruby, and thoroughly enjoyed their love story. Without giving anything away it was hit and passionate and very quick - the falling in love not the sex scenes. Those might prove too much for some readers.
Personally, I'd have liked just a touch of the angst felt in the McCabe Brothers books, but again an enjoyable light read. I look forward to reading about Roxie, Kade and especially Vaughan!
