It was a tremendous loss to us when this man went home to be with the Lord but his legacy is one that continues to impact generations.

I will be reading and re-reading, listening and implementing his program for as long as am conscious!
One of the core qualities he emphasizes is integrity and I have come to understand why individuals who lack integrity are detrimental in business & personal relationships. I know that in my life I have experienced the stress caused by those relationships and the damage caused is beyond measure. Hearing and reading this particular segment is holding me accountable for my own punctuality as a measure of integrity. No more excuses! I take and accept 100% responsibility for my actions. I feel inspired! May God help me lead by example from this day forward!

I tried so hard to like this, I really did. Too many people have said nice things about Zig Ziglar for me to have not been tempted to try one of his books. I opted for this audiobook.
Where do I begin? He has a heavy ‘southern priest’ style of talking that’s somewhat condescending and very old fashioned. I found it difficult to keep focused, and this wasn’t helped by his frequent attempts at humor with his audience. Bad, bad grandfather humor. This all intertwined with inappropriate religious references and shamelessly feeding on the crowd for affirmation of the points he’s making.
Despite the material originating from pre-Internet days, I’m sure he has lots of good things to say but I simply cannot bring myself beyond his old world delivery and style.

Ziglar was s great motivational speaker and author. "Be a leader. Become a success." follows the tried and true formula Ziglar used of great insight coupled with humorous stories to drive home his points. It is a collection of speeches that become redundant after awhile sharing the same comic storied many times but still a good motivational read.

Favorite quotes:
- failure is an event not a person
- yesterday is over. Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Reading this definitely helped me change my attitude and I found energy and optimism that weren't there before. There are many things you can't control but you can control your thoughts, mind and attitude.

I loved this book~ and of course I’m a huge fan of Zig! I actually used it as a study book on leadership with an employee. We both read it & took notes on the parts that really hit home for us. This book is full of advice that is truly inspiring & practical. We both loved the book & felt that it made a great impact on how we see or jobs & fellow employees.

I heard a lot from Zig Ziglar yet never read his books. This was my first one and i can see what the hype was about. I rented the audiobook and felt his authenticity and integrity. The audiobook felt like a series of stand up presentations all tied together. It was easy to listen and I'll consider renting it again.

A friend recommended Zig Ziglar's See You at the Top, but I picked up this series on leadership and success first. Which was a mistake. Most of the content is pretty darn good (though not great), but it comes from recordings of several different events, most of which just repeat most of the same material over and over. So unless you want to listen to an old man telling the same few stories again and again, don't make the mistake I did. If you want Zig's best material, just get his actual book, rather than this poorly conceived and executed collection with mediocre production and editing.[return][return]http://www.amazon.com/review/R2I421YN...

Some great information, some stories are repeated from recordings of various presentations given by Zig. Some wonderful advice and suggestions though.

I just now realized that my high school football coaches stole 90% of their motivational chatter from Zig Ziglar.
