Adam Hargreaves is an English author and illustrator. The son of Roger Hargreaves, he continues his father's popular Mr. Men series of children's books. Hargreaves also served as inspiration for the series. When at the age of six he asked his father "What does a tickle look like?", Roger used that question to create the first book, Mr. Tickle.

Ah, Mr Men and Little Miss, how wonderful you are!

These books made up so much of my childhood. No matter what I would go ahead and pick one up. I worked my way through them all a couple of times. Each one has a wonderful story for the child to engage with, each character being fun to read.

Everyone has a bias for their favourite character, yet every book is delightful.

Ok, Adam Hargreaves, you son of a bitch.(I apologize for that. Christine Hargreaves is a saint) Your father put his life into these books. He took this shit seriously. Mr. Happy is a guy that is happy. It's not rocket surgery, but goddamn it he made it work. So your lackadaisical attitude toward the greater LittleMissiverse is nothing short of appalling. You spit on the established Little Miss continuity, you give zero shits about the basic laws of physics that define the world. Little Miss Whoops trips into a truck?

Ahhh, fuck you.

And the human beings, which apparently live side-by-side with freakish monsters with behaviors defined by their names, read the books you're reading in the book you're reading. What the hell, man.

It's still a pretty good book.

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.

I was reintroduced to the Little Miss books and Mr. Men books, I remembered how much I loved them as a kid. Maddy loves them, too. Choosing a date read is a little difficult because it is read at least once a day since she got it as a present on the plane ride over here, to Armenia.

I used to love the mr men and little miss books as a kid. And I still really enjoyed it and am rather glad that I am not as clumsy as little miss whoops!

I enjoyed this book because this book was funny. I also enjoyed this book because Little Miss Whoops fell over everything.

Why are so many Little Miss books about Mr Men characters? To sum it up: “Little Miss Whoops is clumsy, but maybe not as clumsy as her brother!” And then it’s about as much about Mr Bump as it is about our supposed main character.
The last two pages are entirely from Mr Bump’s perspective, because not talking about male characters or not writing from their perspective in a book with a female main character is just inconceivable, apparently.

Those of you who read the Mr Men books know the fun little stories they have. Well, in the Little Miss books their adventures continue, with the inclusion of some girls too, because it turns out, they exist as well! I know, weird, right. 😐

Well it's nearing the end for little miss, wth the final three books being reached, and this is another great one, the question is how will fellow review Alex review this one, I like this book because I like whoops, or the opposite? It makes no sense, I'm. looking forward to how he (she?) resolves the quandary, well for me it;'s a no brainer, it would be whoops if you missed out on the little miss phenomenon!

Soon as I saw the double bandages wrapped around the head of poor Little Miss Whoops, I got an idea of the physical comedy to come.

Her brother is Mr. Bump. Uh-oh!

In this story she comes to visit him. Their initial tea party is hilarious.

Usually I don't like slapstick comedy, but this wasn't the least mean-spirited. More like when, at age 13, I'd get the giggles.

This story, meaningful to adults and children alike, is good through to the very last page.

Even the pair of most accidental siblings, Little Miss Whoops and Mr Bump, can survive all the frequent mishaps in their daily life without making a fuss, maybe we should all be a bit more tolerate to ours.

I'm going to be honest. I'm rereading all of the Little Miss and Little Men books I own because I don't have anything I want to do right now. Two, I just want a fun read. Three... I want to finish the 100 books I have set as my reading challenge. Just a disclaimer for my following reading activity!

Whoops! I find this rather average. Sorry I just can’t help comparing this to the other books in the series. It takes an extra effort to make a picture book great.

Makes the kids clumsiness seem minor in comparison. Not a bad little book, but certainly not the best of the Little Miss series.

How does Little Miss Whoops have a house is the bigger mystery since she can’t even make a single cup of tea without getting into an accident? Daughter enjoyed saying whoops at the end of each page.

Not sure there's a lot of there there, but it was fun reading this with my kiddos and just having fun reading silly books that I remembered enjoying when I was a kid.
