Wynne is a former operator and as such, this novel has a seat-gripping quality for its realistic scenes. The main character was one of America's best and most skilled operators. Now he's on a killing spree across America. Slow in parts, but high on the psychological thrill, the reader constantly questioning why.

High speed

Well done, fast paced action with decent character development. Author seemed to have solid knowledge of weapons and tactics which is key to a successful story of this nature. Overall, an entertaining story I'd recommend .

Absolutely hardcore! I love the attention to detail especially with weapons & tactics. The fatal funnel scene was brutal & rightfully so. I strongly recommend all three books in the Trilogy.

Great thriller/police procedural in terms of suspense and action. It's a very gritty story with graphic violence. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I appreciated the writing, especially the action scenes. Character development was fairly good though focused mainly on the matters at hand. More back story on Jonny would have been interesting, but this is not purely a psychological novel although it does have elements of that genre. Very good description of the settings which is crucial to the action.

Oh Boy, a rogue Special Ops operative who goes off the reservation. Dominance Rain is America's most effective and elite of the Black Ops units and Jonny Maxwell is one of their best. Jonny gives in to his penchant for rape, murder and mayhem and must be taken out. Enter Dale Miller who is one of
Jonny's ex brothers in arms. The chase is on. I enjoyed it even though it was somewhat predictable.

A page turner, keeps you interested and reading.

One of the more believable stories focusing on members of "special forces", be they navy seals, green berets, whatever.

This book is not so much about a special forces operation as it is a look at the men who do that kind of work.

The basic plot is a rogue member is on the loose, and his former teammate must work to bring him down.

Enjoyed it and would recommend it.

Wow! This is really one of those 'can't sleep til I finish' novels.I was quickly engrossed in the emotional and physical battle that plagued our warriors in this novel. I could visualize their pain and turmoil...found myself smiling and crying many times - but couldn't put it down.

This was an action book - I got it from my dad. It was a little gruesome, about a good guy gone bad. It passed some time for me.

bit on the unbelievable side not to mention a little more gruesome than really necessary.

Quick read. I liked the author's writing, was hoping for more of a CIA operative kind of plot.

This was a great military/Detective mystery. Very much a dark road traversed throughout. The scene with the priest was quite disturbing.

Prosta akcja, szybka i wartka - czyta się łatwo, zapamiętuje gorzej. Do przeczytania i zapomnienia.
