Set on a hilltop in Tuscany, the once powerful and proud Cavallo family own the now much-reduced estate and operate the castle as a luxury boutique hotel. Family members Antonio and Clarissa, father and daughter, have reluctantly relocated from San Diego and now manage the property. They face a host of challenges. A ruthless developer offers to buy the property and sets off an intra-family dispute. A museum creator is searching for an ancient religious icon hidden on the grounds that symbolizes the coming together of the Christian, Hebrew and Moslem faiths. A rock band is shooting a music video whose production is being sabotaged prior to the submission deadline for the Grammy's. The curator Martin and the wealthy property developer's handsome son Paulo are both pursuing Clarissa. What should she do?

Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, I currently live in Denver where I practice law and am a single parent to my 8-year-old adopted son. Life in the Rockies provides ample road trips, fly-fishing excursions, and other adventures usually shared with my son, along with our silver labs, Cooper and Cassie.

Away from the courtroom or the pen, I can usually be found traveling rustic foreign locations (Africa, Amazon, Australia), camping/hiking, cooking or just enjoying a new book find with a drink.
