This book had a lot of good information about dogs, some I did not know. It had vocab, a glossary, index, where to find more info, and even questions that kids could answer after reading it. It was about history of dogs, different breeds, their body types, etc. I paired this book with a fiction book called Dogku by Andrew Clements because it is about a dog and the dog even got into the trash and chewed up the laundry which the non fiction book talked about.
