5 stars – Contemporary Romance/Erotica/Ménage/BDSM Anthology
Feels like a happy hour with your best girlfriends, talking about each others wildest, darkest, deepest sexual desires and fantasies.
Three lifelong best friends who call themselves the ABCs make a daring bet to cure their sexual boredom. Each of them has to spend a wild, wicked, wanton sex filled weekend with the man (or men) of their friends choosing.
Abby – Gets to indulge her ménage fantasy of being taken by two men with a couple of hot-as-sin veterinarians.
Blair – Learns how sexually freeing and fulfilling it is to let go of her hard fought control and submit to the dominating alpha sheriff she’s lusted after for the past 15 years.
Callie – Finally meets her sexual match and engages in some naughty funtastic voyeuristic and exhibitionist sex.
It reminded me a little of Susan Lyon’s Awesome Foursome series, but in a single anthology, with a good dose of “Sex and the City” thrown in. There’s a little bit here for all tastes (ménage, D/s, light bondage and spanking, voyeurism, and exhibitionism), and all of it is HOT, HOT, HOT! Oh, and all three stories have really sweet HEAs too! Big 5 stars!

My, my, my. This one is certainly hot. Three best friends make a bet. The others get to choose which man they will have to spend a wild weekend with, however; all end up unexpectedly losing their hearts. I enjoyed ‘Wild’ by far of the three stories. All of them had sweet happy endings. My one complaint is there was never any talk of safe sex while everyone was getting down dirty every where. It’s a quick, erotic, read.

All three women are single and lacking sex in their lives. So Blair makes a bet that they each have to have a weekend of no-holds barred sex with a man that they other two choose for them. The loser(s) have to pay for a trip to Vegas.
In WILD, veterinarian student Abby is about to finish her interning at a local vet hospital when her two bosses, hunks Mike and Seth let her know they are interested in dating her. Abby is shocked, but excited by the idea of two men wanting her. So when Blair poses the bet and her two friends pick Seth and Mike as her weekend fling, Abby is nervous but seriously turned on. Soon, the three are going all out on a weekend of fun. But after its over, one man steals Abby's heart.
In WICKED, Blair has been known as the town flirt and the one who sleeps with a lot of men. She's been engaged three times and called it off at the last minute. But the one man she avoids is cop Rand McKay. He represents everything she is afraid of - he's too dominating, too controlling, too everything. But when her friends pick Rand as her weekend fling, she'll have to find a way to sleep with him but not get attached.
And in WANTON, Callie is a widow having some trouble getting back in the game after her beloved husband died of cancer. Callie's always been seen as the good girl, but inside, she's got bad girl fantasies. So when her friends pick new guy in town Jack Fellows as her fling, Callie is excited to learn Jack shares some of her fetish fantasies.

What to say about a book that's chock full of all kinds of sex? I think this is probably one of the hottest erotic romances I've ever read. Some of the scenes will just make you melt into a puddle. And you get a little bit of everything. Each woman has a different fantasy/fetish. Abby gets a threesome, Blair lets her inner submissive loose, and Callie finally get to unleash her exhibitionistic/voyeuristic side. So you get a lot of variety, sexually, in this book. Which made it fun to read. And, yeah, really really really hot. But you better be open to a little kink if you plan to read this one.
I'm not sure which story was my favorite. They each had something I liked, but I think maybe Callie's story was my fav. Hers was a bit more well-rounded. One of things that kept me from giving this book a full five stars was that I thought there needed to be more character development. I felt like I hardly knew the characters when I finished the book. Everything is very focused on in-the-moment and it was a bit one dimensional. Plus, all the sex left little time for anything else, and each novella takes place over only a couple days, I think. So I would have like more character development.
And in Callie's book, I felt like I knew more about them. You got to see more of their lives and who they were. I liked that. But really, I loved all three novellas. Which is cool. Novellas are often hit and miss so it was great to read a book that was a winner all around.
I'd definitely recommend this book to those of you who like erotic romance, and who don't mind novellas that are a little underdeveloped in standard contemporary romance aspects.

Tres historias cortas presentadas como una sola esta es una lectura caliente pero sin mucho fondo, 3 chicas, 3 caballeros, 3 instalove de fin de semana. Fácil de leer y entretenida, sin embargo más enfocada en las escenas picantes que en dar mucha trama.

We all need a friend (or friends) who will push us to step out and try for something we really want. Knowing that that support is there, no judgments.
Technically one novel-length story, it's really one of the rare ones in which an author writes three short stories about three different women and makes it work. Burton sets it up presenting the women as close friends who set a bet and then uses the weekends to connect each story one after the other. For all the erotica, there was a nice homey feel to the collection with the emphasis on true love.
The Story
It's Abby's last day at the clinic, finishing up her internship when she's called in to Dr. Nottingham's office where she is blindsided by their proposal. Both Mike and Seth want to date Abby, singly or together. And they're willing to abide by whatever Abby wants.
Not what Abby was expecting. It's such a surprise that she calls up her best friends and begs them to meet her for lunch. She needs advice. It's that lunch meeting that spells doom for all three as it's there that Blair comes up with the bet. The other two will choose the man with whom the third one must spend a weekend. Having wild, wanton, and wicked sex.
So it's Abby's turn first and, surprise, surprise, Blair and Callie choose both Mike and Seth for her weekend of love. A weekend that starts at the country club and progresses to Mike's place with both men. It's Blair's turn next and Abby and Callie choose the man she's been avoiding for years. It's about time Blair got past her desperate need to control everything in her life. Finally, it's Callie's turn and, in some ways, she has it the hardest---oops, I should say, the most difficult---as there wasn't anyone opposing the others' romances. Both Callie and Jack have a secret fantasy that could ruin Jack's career. A career for which he's worked very hard.

The ABCs are Abby Lawson, Blair Newcastle, and Callie Jameson. Friends since their childhood. Friends through all the crap adulthood can throw at you. Abigail is finishing up her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree as well as her internship at the animal clinic after a much-needed divorce; Bailey has almost made it to the altar three or four times, but even she realizes the men she's chosen are too weak for her; and, Callie has spent the last five years mourning her husband and building up her coffee shop business.
Mike Nottingham and Seth Jacobs are the doctors at the animal clinic who both want Abby. Rand McKay is the sheriff of Silverwood and has been in love with Bailey for 15 years, just waiting for her to come to her senses. Jack Fellows has just made partner in one of the most prestigious law firms in town, and he reckons he can take some time to pursue the lovely Callie.

The cover is quite subtle. Almost as though someone had pulled one gauzy shade up and another down leaving a red-tinged view through the middle of a man nuzzling the jawline of a woman.
The title is accurate enough as all three ladies are Wild, Wicked, & Wanton with the goad of their bet egging them on.

Abby, Blair and Callie have been best friends since forever. They call themselves the ABCs. well the ABCs are at it again now between sipping margaritas they make a bet. The bet? SEX. Easy right? So they all agree and then comes the catch. The other two friends will pick who they have to have sex with.
Abby goes first and her friends choose her boss and his buddy for a little menage a trois action. Abby, having always wanted two guys and being that her sex life has been non existent lately, is scared to go out with two of the most eligible bachelors. Mike and Seth are hot and extremely delicious. And totally on board with giving her all the pleasure she wants and making her WILD.

Jaci Burton knows how to deliver a hot read and in this case three great stories! All three women happen to end with a HEA and even though they get together pretty quickly I was able to connect with all three couples and believe in their love even after a short time. It helps that they all knew each other before and it wasn't just random strangers that they fell in love with over the weekend. If I had to pick one as a favorite, I'd have to go with Blair's story because HOLY HELL Rand McKay is one hot man.

Definitivamente, estas chicas si saben como buscar emoción en la vida.
3 amigas, solteras y cansadas de estar solas, deciden apostar un fin de semana hot para cada una de ellas donde las amigas deciden quien será el indicado. Pero las cosas pueden ser mejor de lo que pensaban.
Abby termina teniendo un fin de semana super hot y sexual como parte de la apuesta,con nada mas ni nada menos que sus dos sexys ex-jefes Mike y Seth. Las cosas se ponen calientes en este trió sexual, pero al final, los sentimientos afloran, y deberá replantearse que es solo sexo y lujuria, y que ademas de eso es amor. ¿Sera que uno de ellos es el amor de su vida? Debo decir, que por un momento me dio miedo que no eligiera al indicado. Y lo mas complicado, es que ellos son íntimos amigos. Como hace una para elegir a uno después de tan importante experiencia, formar una familia y seguir viendo al otro porque ellos son como hermanos?
Blair finalmente decide cumplir su parte de la apuesta, y sus amigas decidieron que él seria justamente el oficial Rand McKay. El único hombre al que desea profundamente desde hace 15 años, pero que por ningún concepto esta dispuesta a aceptar, ya que él representa todo lo que trató de ocultar en su vida. Podrá ceder a sus profundos deseos, y entregarse como sumisa a Rand? A fin de cuentas, él es el único que realmente sabe darle lo que ella mas desea.
Y la última en cumplir la apuesta es Callie, y el elegido es Jack Feilows, su super hot cliente desde hace mas de un año y medio. Las almas gemelas existen, y el amor para toda la vida también. Si a eso le sumamos que son complementarios en el sexo, nada puede ser mas perfecto. Hay que abrir la mente, y permitirnos explorar cosas nuevas y terriblemente satisfactorias.
Definitivamente, estas chicas si saben como buscar emoción en la vida.

Mucha carga erótica, y escenas muy calientes, enseñan en esta novela, que el sexo es mucho mas complejo de lo que a primeras se ve. Y que los gustos son variados y hay para todos. Las almas gemelas existen, y el amor para toda la vida también. Si a eso le sumamos que son complementarios en el sexo, nada puede ser mas perfecto. Hay que abrir la mente, y permitirnos explorar cosas nuevas y terriblemente satisfactorias.

One of my favorite books by Jaci Burton this book is smoking hot!!! Love everything she has written have not been disappointed yet by this wonderful author!
Technically, this book would be considered an anthology, as each woman's story is complete in and of themselves. But Burton has tied the three tales together with an overall storyline to bind them, allowing each of the women to appear as supporting characters in the other's tales. Left to their own devices, neither Abby, Blair, nor Callie would have pursued these romances, but a clever little bet forces each to face their true desires, allowing romance to blossom.
I loved each of the romances, and found something in each heroine that I could personally identify with, drawing more empathy from me for each story. With sexy scenes hot enough to burn your fingertips while turning the pages, Wild, Wicked and Wanton more than lives up to its name, but Burton deviously infuses her latest book with a hefty dose of sweetness that will melt your heart more surely than even the most sizzling of love scenes can.
I highly recommend this book.

this was a fun read. the story of three best friends who make a bet for each of them to have a wild weekend of sex with a man the others choose. each of them gets to live out a fantasy and find a HEA along the way.
we got to read about a menage, some BDSM, and a voyeur who is also into exhibitionism. the last story stuck out the most for me. maybe because it was not as common of a story line as the other two. or it could be because it was just really that hot.

Written in 2007, if I had read it then, I probably would have loved it. This is a set of three novellas interwoven around each of three close friends, having different erotic adventures. The building of sexual tension is excellent, and the sex scenes themselves (so many of them!) are super hot.
So... The second story is about a woman who's long had a suppressed crush on a commanding Dom type... who is now a cop. He pulls her over, for speeding, and feels her up. Ugh. Sandra Bland is on my mind, that scene just sapped the happy out of it, for me.
The third story centers around a woman who is biracial, but the only clue to this is repeated references to her caramel colored skin, etc. Double ugh. I am sure that if the author were to rewrite this story today, she would do better than to refer to a WOC's skin in terms of edibles.
Some readers might be able to get past those things, or not even notice them, but I'm not one of them. I would definitely read more of this author's work, because she writes well, and hot, but those were big issues for me.

This book follows the story of three women, close friends who are sick of having no men in their lives and are in need to good sex! They make a bet to all have a wild weekend of sinful sex which a partner of the other girls choosing. Each have their own secrets about what they like in the bedroom....or not in Carries case ;) and the books leads you on a very hot journey.

Wild:Covers Abby who is trying to get over a broken marriage after her husband took away her self-esteem by cheating on her. She is training to be a Vet, the other girls decide she should spend the weekend with her two bosses Seth and Mike.
Wicked:Follows Blair, she has been in love with local town Cop Rand since she was 14 and has always avoided her feelings for this domineering man because of a troubled childhood with her own domineering father. Obviously the other girls knowing about her feelings bet he to spend the weekend with Rand.
Wanton: This is the story of Carrie, who after being widowed at a young age is starting over again and owns her own successful coffee shop. She meets Jack a Lawyer who comes into the shop for coffee every morning. Unknowing to her Jack has had his eye on Callie from afar for sometime.
Each story is very different and takes you on a wild adventure with some very steamy scene.

Y me atrevería a decir que para algunos MAYORES TAMPOCO.WOW.
Puede que sea el libro más erótico que he leído en mi vida. Habiendo leído una gran variedad de libros de literatura romántica-erótica en general y de Jaci Burton en particular, ya iba avisada. Pero creo que éste es el libro más erótico que he leído de la autora.
Tengo las hormonas completamente revolucionadas.
No. No es un novelón. Es lo que es. Un libro erótico llenito de escenas de sexo ardiente, fantasías hechas realidad, mucha pasión, mucho descaro y, en el fondo (muy en el fondo), un pelín de romanticismo (por aquello de que el libro no sea completamente una guía de fantasías sexuales). No esperéis una gran historia, pero si queréis algo con lo que encenderos un poco...bueno, éste es vuestro libro.
Al menos el libro no engaña y no pretende ser "la historia que te cambiará la vida"
Lo que no me cabe duda es que las tres protagonistas del libro disfrutan muchísimo de sus respectivos fines de semana de sexo ardiente y apasionado. Tanto que les cambia la vida.

The beginning was so cookie cutter: I want sex from her...but I think I may love her... I like talking to her, even though we've only talked about having sex with each other....she's my true love...let's have a three-way with my best friend...jk, I want her all to myself. Crappy book so far. Absolutely no character development, just a bunch of horny 30+
The only story that had a bit of plot was Callie's story at the end, it was kind of forced, and very cliche but it was better than the other two. I don't think I want to read another Jaci Burton book though. There were a couple of panty-dropping sex scenes but it is just really not worth the time or money because of the huge lack of originality.

I love how the author Jaci Burton set up this story. I adored it as a matter of fact. It was so interesting to read about these 3 fun woman who are best friends and they finally seek out their desires via a bet.
Such a fun read. Such awesome hotness. Even though the book is divided up to give each of the women their time for a story, they are all interconnected and reading about each of their adventures was so enjoyable. This was my first Jaci Burton book and certainly will not be my last. I strongly recommend this book as it offers a wonderful variety hence the Wild, Wicked and Wanton title. Such a keeper here!

What a great, great anthology about 3 girlfriends who make a bet to have a weekend fling with whoever the other 2 in their group decide on.
Story 1 is about Abby who is a Veterinarian who has a menage with her two hunky co-doctors.
Story 2 is about Blair who begrudgingly has some bdsm naughtiness with a former schoolmate she hated and is now the sheriff.
Story 3 is about Callie who has a voyeuristic fling with the hot lawyer who comes to her coffee shop every day.
This is one smoking hot anthology with some very happy girlfriends and some very HEA's.
Have a cool drink, a fan and a hottie of your own near by after reading this book.

Loved the book. Loved how three friends come together and decide to bet on a weekend of Hot sex and end up having the world turn upside down. M favorite story is Blair's her story was Hot. I love hate and love relationships it makes the chemistry so Hot between the characters. All of them were interesting. Abby got her wild fantasies of having two men and come to find one of the men she ends of falling for. And Callie story was hot. A complete stranger who just happen to have an interest in her too. Their story was Hot and full of naughty sex in public spaces. Loved the Sex it was Hot and hard to put down. Recommend to anyone who wants a hot read.

This is an excellent erotic story. Three short stories combined with one intro chapter. Abby, Blair, and Callie, after a night of drinking, dare each other to live out their fantasies. Two of the friends pick a man for the other woman to have a wild night with. Then they want all the juicy details. Now I know that's a bit cheesy but build up for some intense and very hot stories. I liked them so much that I sought out other Jaci Burton titles. Incidentally she has another very similar book called
Bound, Branded and Brazen. =)

This is a keeper.
All three stories are hot. The common theme that binds the three stories - three good girlfriends dare each other to have passionate encounters with the men they've been lusting after for a while. The stories are sexy and romantic. There's even an interracial love story between a biracial woman and a white man which is a rarity in this genre. I can't pick a favorite among the three stories. They're all equally good. Jaci Burton has a way of writing scenes without being crude or cheesy or predictable.

just like the description, this book is all we need to read for all kind hottie stuff.
1. expecting the voyeur/exhibitionist story to be the most interesting story, yet it really bring me to anti-climax. the 2nd story is the hottest.
2. girls bestie with their hottie man.
3. oh heeeell menage! innocent widower herroine with two panty droppers hero.
4. a cop hero and a bitchy herroine, surrender and all. and play dirty cop roleplay at the side of highway! omg.
5. intense, short, but leave me satisfied with the epilogue.

I just don't know where to begin. I found this book to be awesome. It is broken up into three sections for each of the characters. Abby, Blaire and Callie each start out with a lack of a love life. Then they make a bet and each ones love life goes from zero to one hundred and ten in a flash. Their is plenty of heat. Talk about living out your fantasies. WOW! They are so real and their men so, so hot. You must pick this up and relive their fantasies. This is a definite five plus stars.

Good Book. 3 stories in 1 book. 3 women make a bet with each other. 2 of the friends get to select the man the 3rd woman is to hook up with. Abby gets the 2 veterinarians, Mike and Seth. Blair hooks up with bad boy sheriff Rand McKay. And coffee shop owner gets the powerful exec lawyer, Jack Fellows who has his own secrets (he likes to watch).

Light and easy read with some hot sex to boot. I liked the friendships here a lot and thought they added a different dimension (the men's as well as the women's friendships are front and center.) This one did not transport me out of my life as I like erotica to do (and which earns the 5-star from me), but it was fun.

Very sexy. Not for those who prefer their romances to be plain ol' "Vanilla". Loved it. (Only one warning: "safe sex" scenes weren't mentioned, so this is pure fantasy because the author doesn't take STDs and pregnancy consequences into account).

Jaci Burton is an exceptionally talented writer. This is a book with Three stories about three different friends. This book is so hot it will burn your fingers. You will not want to put it down. I highly recommend this book and any other book written by Jaci Burton.
