This is book 2 in the Galaxy Playmates series. This is the story of Quartz and Thor. The girls are named from Earth's precious stones and the men from earth's Greek gods. She is a dancer in space and he is her bodyguard. What she finds with him ,no man could ever give. These books are short but they pack a punch.

If you're looking for a quick, hot read, this is the one for you. It was about 20 pages in my version and not bad for a short story.
She has a bodyguard because she had been getting threatening letters. Her old bodyguard wanted her, but she didn't want him back, so she fired him for his perseverance. She is attracted to her new bodyguard, but she can never be a one-man woman because she likes variety and doesn't want to hurt a man by cheating on him. When her old bodyguard is revealed to be the one sending the threatening letters, she finds out that she had been only fucking Thor for the last year because he is a complete shifter and can change shape to anything he wants. All he has to do is touch another creature to get the DNA and change to its form. In the end, they confess their love for each other and get together exclusively.

Loved the second book in the series, now I must say that Quartz ia annoyinggggggggggggg vain and spoil but it's apart of her character and it's ok with me in the end she got the man who could give her everything. Thor what a cutie pattuie he was sexy and a nice guy and was strong enough to handle Quartz and of course the sex was good. Can't wait to read the 3rd installment of the series.

2ND READING: QUARANTINE PERIOD 4.5 stars!
I just stumbled on this once more and it brought smile to my face. This is actually a short story, really and the plot is not deep but it brought giddiness to me
1st READING in 2013: 4 stars
Of all the Galaxy Playmates stories, THIS is what I love the most. Quartz does not have any "Action-packed" characteristics compared to other Michelle Pillow's heroine. She is a glamorous, ambitious playmate. And she accepts her sexuality as a woman - she relishes on it. Hero is in love with her for so long and she's afraid that if she commits to him she will hurt him because she knows that her eyes will wander to other species. At least she's very honest about it. With the Hero's capabilities, it really complements her desires :-)

This was a pretty good short erotic story. Quartz is a Galaxy playmate and does shows all over. She has a bodyguard, Thor that she likes but can't be with exclusively because she likes variety and doesn't want to cheat on him. I lied the surprise that allowed them to be together in the end. It's a hot little story that I enjoyed reading. :D

Very well done
Even though this book wasn't very long, it was definitely a surprise and I enjoyed every moment. Can't wait to read the next book in this series
