I am too glad that I read this book once the series was complete because the ending!! 😱in true Dedra B fashion, she took me through it with this book but I couldn’t get enough of the story!! I welcomed the drama and the characters baggage. There is a part of the story that could be a trigger to readers- DV, please heed to the content warning. My heart ached for Chance; Polo means her no good and I am not a fan of him. Lisa is just as bad, how do you want the man but not his kids? What kind of evil person do you have to be. I am aching for Polo and Lisa to get dealt with. I love Con; he’s lowkey but deadly and that is a good combo for me! Running to part two!!

Whew Chile Lisa is a whole trifling, scandalous, conniving mess and I'm surprised Con didn't see her for who she truly is sooner. His little sister Morgan try warning Con about Lisa being evil and the red flags was all up in his face. It seems to take Chance coming to babysit Morgan and DJ for Con to realize listen was selfish and cold hearted. Lisa think her sister Monica have her back but babyyyyy the both of them are conniving like their mother. I felt sorry for Chance. Being in a disrespectful and abusive relationship was taking a toll on her. I understand she Polo was all she knew since her mother turn her back on her but Polo is a piece of s**t. He's a dirty, disrespectful, cheating, abusive ass bastard. Polo lowkey plotting on Con and Lisa and Monica too dumb to realize it. However I don't think its going to work out well for either of them. Con isn't an easy target. I had a feeling Con was going to start looking at Chance as more than the person who babysit his little brother and sister. Chance is a nurturer and that is something Con and his siblings miss having. I love Prince. Him and Chance are cousins but seems more like brother's and sister's. They definitely had each other back. The way this ended. Polo putting his hands on Chance was the last straw for her but I believe that is going to bring out the beast in Con since his brother and sister was there to witness the drama.

This book has lol and mad all in one it was a good read. Lisa was a dirry low down snake and she deserved Everything she got and more for treating those kids the way that she did.Monica was thirsty but and desperate too bad it took her getting mad at her sister over a no good man to spill all the tea on her and Polo. Polo was really a lame No good dude. He just needed to live in his truth that he was bi or gay no harm in that. Chance was a sweetheart true and thru but she was also too nieve and let A lot slide. So glad that she finally got a backbone and found her worth and let a real man love on her. Con waa thee man but he was too trusting of his soo called fiance your a millionaire why dont you have cameras in your house and when he saw her moving different why did he not take heed to his sisters words and check up on her. Prince kept it all the way real loved his character.

Awesome Read I can’t wait for part 2 to drop
Baby when I tell you the drama is at an all time high I’m this book whew I am outdone.. I really like Chance she is having a hard time right now but things are finally starting to look up for her if she could just get rid of her toxic a$& baby daddy Polo. Polo is a narcissistic mess he is abusive verbally, mentally and physically has community d and still won’t let Chance move on and be great. Con is bae and I am glad he is realizing that Lisa is not where it’s at she is selfish, manipulative and just all around trifling and I can’t wait until he finds out about that bogus sh!t she pulled with Morgan things are going get real for sure then. Oh on a side note I believe the lady Alice that Chance met at the bus stop is going to end up being Con’s mother but we will see.

Good Read
This was def a fast paced book, everything happened quick...a little too quick for me. However it was a cute little read with enough entertainment to keep turning the pages.
It is serious when someone decides that their partner becomes their meal ticket for life without engaging with all aspects of life with them and that is on Lisa. She expected to have a full life without Con's siblings in the picture and while I dont agree that she should be doing a mother's job to Mo and DJ off the strength that she was dating Con, Lisa was heartless and selfish.
I wish Chance didn't give Polo all of those chances but I guess it was hard to walk away from someone who treat you terribly. I wish Chance wasn't so fly off at the mouth and although she was great with Mo and DJ her character didn't seem to fit Con's either. I guess book 2 will bring everything together.

Dedra B,lord, this messy mess right here. I can't even think about how much mess these fools got going on. Polo, needs to just look in the mirror, he only does what women allow him to do. Lisa, has not a heart and her soul is black. Chance has such a good soul, heart and with everything going on she just still has a heart of gold. No knew who was for them and who wouldn't. Why did you do me like that? I am invested I need for Chance to be Okay. I don’t like Polo or Lisa. Matter fact I can’t wait for everything to blow up on Lisa. Her momma for giving that dumb advice and her sister too for being nasty. Polo was upfront he was no good but he need to stop playing with Chance and let her go. Con I’m rooting for him because he is really doing right beside with Chance but he was loyal for the longest till Lisa started being bolder with her disrespect. I never wished death on anybody but Polo got ta go. Lisa thinks her ish don’t stank and to go to the extreme to hurt innocent kids is too far. I love Chance and her big heart. Con got his hands full dealing with Lisa. Morgan need to tell everything that went on with Lisa the evil witch. I don’t like Monica either. She acts as if she giving good advice but also giving out da cooch like sample packets. I bet Alice is who I think she is and I can’t wait for the reunion. Great story

Unlimited drama that's an attention keeper
The drama is unlimited and draws you in! Polo and Lisa are straight up phuck ninjas. I love Chances and was glad that she finally stood firm on choosing herself and her child. Now Con, he's all man! And I love how he takes care of his siblings and those he cares about. That ending had me in a chokehold so can't wait for the final installment.

OMG this book was straight up FIYAH!! Dedra B definitely did her thing with this story line. Attention grabbing from page 1!! I’m sitting on go waiting for part 2!! I love her humorous side and I found myself lmao while reading this book! The characters were well developed and the drama was heavy! I’m definitely a fan of the pretty pen pusha!!

That Lisa and Polo are some of the grimiest people I have read about!! I'm rooting hard for Chance and Con to be happy though. Prince as well. I hope in book 2 we hear more from Prince and his side of things. That ending had my mouth on the floor!! Wasn't expecting that at all!!

When I say I couldn’t put this book down, babyyyy listen. This is my second book from Dedra and though the first was good, this one is fire. On to the next part. I hope it doesn’t disappoint but I doubt that. The storyline keeps you reading!! I highly recommend.

This book is really good but has a lot of trigger warnings so read at your own risk. I enjoyed how the book progressed and can’t wait until all secrets are revealed. This book does leave on a cliffhanger. I did wish that the book had more spicy scenes.
