Rate this book
Immortal Evil Erupting from the depths of a madman’s nightmare, a foul tide of twisted magical abominations sweeps across the kingdom of Neffrom, devouring everything in its path. Behind this mighty vanguard marches the unstoppable host of the immortal Hezra-Thrall spreading his terrible, soul-corrupting curse like plague across the land. Desperate Hope In the frigid depths of winter, hope burns small, its feeble flicker sheltered in the hearts of two young nobles, the disiherited lordling Sparrow of Blackaker and the blind swordswoman Kisha. Bound together by a damning prophecy, this wretched pair must survive Thrall’s legions, confront their own most horrible fears incarnate, and stand together against a god in a battle wherein the ultimate sacrifice becomes the ultimate weapon.

Only the 2nd book I have read from this writer and I am continued to be impressed. At first i thought it was going to be a standard fantasy story but it took a nice twist on the way magic works and effects the world around the caster. Nice broken heroes and tortured souls to round out the story to make this an above average read. Very recommended

What else can I say? WOW!

Excellent novel. Full of mystery and terror, twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The characters are fully developed with all of the traits, good and bad, the you see in reality. Has a bit of prophesy, a few battles and sword fights, lots of magic, a bit of coming of age, loads of growing up, no graphic sex, the violence is more implied than graphic, and just a touch of feel good romance, but not enough to make it cheesy. All in all, it is a wonderful story, and worth every bit of any money Amazon.com would charge!
