In-depth narrative of the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba in an attempt to overthrow Castro. Takes it from the inception of the idea in about 1959 through the preparations, training & invasion. All from the stories of the leaders. Takes you three battles miscommunications and errors to the failure and capture of most of the Brigade. Great history of something that I knew little about but not a page turner thus the three months to get through it. Excellent read for a student of history
