Many easy to read poems about a variety of subjects by a variety of authors. Long poems, short poems and everything in between with great illustrations. These would be great to read if you had a specific subject lesson, or if you just need to pass time with your class.

A poetry book I grew up with, which my Mum cleared out, and has recently bought me another copy of as I loved it so much! The poems are really accessible, and vary in terms of length. They're organised into themes; my favourites as a child being about witches' potions due to the messy, disgusting things that were described!
