Dr. Betty Lynn Segal Bardige was an early childhood educator, author, advocate, community leader, and philanthropist.

Bardige received her undergraduate degree from Wellesley College and her Ph.D. from Harvard University. She wrote and co-authored more than a dozen books.

This book would be great for someone who is newer to the field of early childhood education or someone who is a new parent. It was chock full of specific ideas that can be used immediately in the classroom, daycare or at home. The book was very focused on child development and developmentally appropriate activities for kids birth to 5.
