Demonstrates a variety of stretches designed to relieve stress, stiffness, and backaches, improve posture, and increase flexibility, and includes stretches to be done during pregnancy
I did not follow the author’s advice. I read the book cover to cover. The order of the exercises is not natural for me. Because I read the entire book, it was easy to do a self assessment. Some of the easiest stretches are in the middle of the book under specific body regions.
I bought this book for the photos. They show the models hand, foot and head positions more clearly than the other books available to me when it originally printed (1985). The photos are helpful now that I have forgotten most of this. Glad I decided to actually read it. Some great stretch routines.
