Almost five stars. Superb treatment but who the heck wants to read television scripts when you can watch them on DVD? If you're looking for a book that deals with the entire series, I recommend "The Twilight Zone: Unlocking the Door to a Television Classic" by Martin Grams. That book has such detail level your jaw will drop. The behind-the-scenes coverage is magnificent.

Alden's book about the "Visions from the Twilight Zone" is a coffee table book that reveals only photographs and images in an art form. Again, it doesn't do the series justice.

Read this book if you enjoy a few essays, but don't expect coverage of the complete series -- you have to read the Grams book for exceptional coverage.
