This is wonderful, a hardcover children's book about Puerto Rican New York City kids on a very, very hot day in Summer. Reading it, I could taste the food, smell the sweat, feel the heat. Book is so low budget that they couldn't afford full colour pictures and had to just use 2 or 3. Awesome illustrations and a unique, special book.

I like this book it may remind some students of what they do in the summertime. It has a lot of characters so they have quotation marks for them speaking. It had one word that students may not know and they have the definition and what language it is. Overall, a good book.
