I love Pre-Raphaelite Art. Ophelia by Sir John Everett Millais blows me away..The Lady of Shalott by John William Waterhouse gives me goosebumps.

This was an extremely interesting read. The descriptions were concise and to the point while also giving a fair idea about the trends and events of that period. The illustrations were very interesting to study as well. However, even though the cropped details of the illustrations were helpful, I did not appreciate the occasional flipping of the paintings. A very good introduction and history of the PRB.

A fun topical book with lots of pictures! Seriously though, it was worth the $7 at the used bookstore for the pictures alone.

A good introductory book, with lots and lots of pretty picture. The language isn't too complicated, and whilst it doesn't go too in-depth or anything... it's still good for those who... well... wanted to know more about the Pre-Raphaelites.

And as a friend said, "No, they're not from Italy. Well, except one. But... no."

A good, enjoyable book.
