A short erotic read of revenge by Leslie Lee Sanders that gives new meaning to the word “payback.” Mimi Conley’s husband is cheating on her with a woman he works with in order to get back at her for costing him a huge promotion. To get even with her husband, Mimi concocts a plan to seduce Kevin Baxter; a young, sexy coworker that she soon discovers knows how to please. Mimi has the greatest sex she’s ever had and considers seeing him again after her plan of crushing her husband with the details of her naughty tryst goes through. However, to her surprise, she gets a rude awakening when she finds out Kevin has a perfect plan of his own.

Revenge can is sometimes sweet or bitter and on a rare occasion it can be both. Frank and Mimi Conley are married and both successful in business. Mimi’s actions caused Frank to lose an important promotion and as an act of revenge he cheated on her. Mimi didn’t only get mad but she devised a plan to get even; to Hell with the consequences! She arranged a clandestine meeting with one of the younger employees, Kevin Baxter and planned to match Frank’s peccadillo. What initially appears to be an abuse of power and authority on her part soon takes on a mutual character. None of the characters are particular endearing but the twist and turns in the plot leave the reader with the satisfying feeling that everyone eventually got their just desserts. This story will never win any literary awards but it brought me temporary enjoyment and when all is said and done, that is the most important thing a book can do.
This was one of those 99 cents erotica ebook stories that I see recommended and I always wanted to try one. Well, it took me 15 minutes to read and it was not fulfilling. Not my cup of tea, the characters were both jerks; so unlikable- it was amazing I could dislike them and the story in such a short period of time. Learned my lesson.
