I just finished this and the last story was best but I don't think it is an angel story but it is supernatural. Dr. Moolenberg has had a big effect on me with his rules about angel stories. This last one which made me cry was a good ghost story! I don't think the story titled Heavenly Visitor was an angel story either but its a good story. Not all the stories are good. Its better to read Meetings with Angels by Dr. Moolenberg.
Trying to recommend this book to a friend but stupid Apple computer won't let me...DUH! Says its a porn site. Sure makes me MAD! But I am persistent.
This is a great book. It's about the lord above giving us chances and showing us ways of his mairicales and love. and these people tell how that was done
It was a good book to take to wait at the doctor's office and while my car was being worked on. It was short and easy to read with short stories, one per chapter. One of the stories, I had heard long ago on the Seven Hundred Club as told by the missionaries who experienced it. Some of the stories seem obvious miracles whereas some could easily have been a helpful person who just didn't see the need to linger once the problem was solved. I've had a number of such possible encounters with angels myself and believe they do take place. I gave it three stars because after finishing the book, I can barely recall any of the stories. The book was not life changing, I learned little from it, but it was entertaining. I think a middle schooler might profit from it.
