I love this one. It's short and cute with a sweet message. It's got rhyming text with good rhythm. My kids liked it a lot when they were two to four. They especially liked the pictures where Toby was naughty or messy.
The theme in this book is a very popular one but teaches little growing children an important lesson. Throughout the book Toby the mouse asks his mom if he does a bunch of different things will she love him. She tells him of course and this shows kids that they are always loved even when they are being scolded. I like this book and it would be good to read to a kindergarten class.
