Sammy the Hammy is a genetic experiment gone horribly awry. Standing five feet tall and weighing in at 220 pounds, this giant hamster’s main function aboard the Steel Duck is as her engine. Unfortunately, due to his large size and having to run on a 12-foot wheel for eight hours a day, Sammy is perpetually hungry. He also has an I.Q. of about 65 — still quite high for a hamster. Join the crew of the Steel Duck as they build a pop-star robot, are invaded by their Mirror Universe counterparts (as drawn by Paul Southworth), refit the ship, cross over with David Willis’ It’s Walky and blast off Earth (again — this time, for sure). All this, and more, in the fourth volume of Old School Melonpool!
