Auf Empfehlung eines Freundes gelesen. Stilistisch lag es mir nicht, aber viele Stellen fand ich interessant und menschenfreundlich.

Ich finde dieses Buch sehr hilfreich. Es enthält sehr gute Erkläreungen, was einem dabei hilft, das ADHS und sich selbst besser zu verstehen. Die Tipps und Strategien waren mir entweder schon bekannt und wende ich an oder klingen so ansprechend, dass ich sie gerne ausprobieren möchte.

Man merkt deutlich, dass der Autor selbst ADHS hat. Hier werden Tipps und Erklärungen gegeben, die absolut Sinn machen. In anderen ADHS-Büchern bekommt man oft die Standard-neurotypischen Zeitmanagement- und Organisationstipps, die oftmals nicht funktionieren für Menschen, die etwas anders ticken. Hier fühlt man sich jedoch verstanden und es wird sogar ausgeführt, wieso dieser oder jener Tipp sinnvoll sein kann.

Jeder Mensch mit ADHS, der im Alltag, im Beruf oder im Studium noch etwas verbessern will ist mit diesem Buch sehr gut beraten.

This has a lot of good stuff and I need to revisit some of it already now that I have a better overview of it. The English translation does feel a bit stiff and maybe too close from the German original.
