The Photographer's Guide to Nudes: A Complete Masterclass

Rate this book
One of the most specialized areas of professional photography, nudes are a complicated and often underrepresented art. In addition to the technical
considerations, newcomers to the form may feel unprepared or nervous about working with models. This beautiful volume offers plenty of inspiration, reassurance, and information on everything from decorating the body to the respective merits (and problems associated with) indoor and outdoor shoots. Find out the best cameras to use in a variety of situations, and discover fascinating techniques—such as solarization—for creating unique images of the human form. Delve into the rich diversity of nude styles, including classical, glamour, and fetish. Each eye-opening shot comes with John Freeman’s detailed explanations, from the choice of pose to the fine points of lighting.

Beautiful book about how to take photos of bare bodies. Begins with equipment and then lenses then goes into exposure, working with models, image framing, backgrounds, props, use of B/W, niche-type images, and more. Includes many beautiful images.
