Ich war mein ganzes Leben lang brav gewesen und hatte anderen erlaubt, Entscheidungen für mich zu treffen, bis ich eines Tages fast meinen Schicksalsgefährten verloren hätte. Also tat ich das Einzige, was mir übrigblieb.

Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies, even as a little girl. When I was a toddler, my parents would read stories to me over and over. I would hear them so often that I had the books memorized and could recite the story word by word.
My favorite genres are fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary romance. So of course that's what I'm inclined to write.
I have a husband, two young daughters, and a mini Australian Shepherd. I've lived in Tennessee the majority of my life and love the state.
I'm extremely addicted to caffeine and enjoy drinking coffee and lattes. I am so pleased that you stopped by my page! Please feel free to follow or contact me at the following pages -
The reason I gave this four stars is because of the last chapter. I won't release any spoilers but Sadie is supposed to be a strong heroine but she is really lacking so far. I will continue with the last book and I'm hoping she gets stronger or I will be highly disappointed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞
Sadie is revealed to be half Fae/ half werewolf shifter. She can teleport, stop bullets, and destroy magical blasts. She still doesn’t know the full extent of her powers, and it is revealed her father was killed by the evil villain.
Here, Sadie meets her mother as well, and finds safety in the mansion of a vampire. She becomes closer to Donovan as he also learns to embrace his werewolf abilities.
She is left to be kidnapped in the end, but that’s it.
Okay, all that aside, I love this series and I love Sadie. She is badass, smart, and fierce. I know she was raised and is kind of broken on the inside, but I love seeing her stand strong.
Donovan is much more steamier in the sequel and I loved seeing him support Sadie all the way. Their connection is true and caring.
Again, loved all the side characters. We see a few new ones, but nothing major.
Anyhow, I just love it so much. I know I say that a lot, but I also mean it this time.

‘Blood Secrets’ is book two in Jen L. Grey’s The Wolf Born Trilogy. Book one ‘Hidden Mate’ must be read prior to this. This book ends on a massively devastating cliffhanger.
Sadie and Roxy have finally left the tyrant alpha Tyler’s pack and made their own small pack with Sadie the alpha. Now on the run and worried about her mate, Sadie, Roxy, Egan, Lillith and Katherine must get to the Vampire nest to try and work out what their next step is. But first things first they need to get help for Donovan and Axel and hope they make the transition, hope that their wolves are strong enough to except the bite. Then work out how to stay out of the hands of Tyler and Brock.
OMG!!! Far out! What did I just read? Talk about emotional overload... um, please excuse me whilst I try to gather my thoughts so I can write this review.
Wolves, Vampires, Dragon and Fae. This kind of sounds like a start to a joke. But I can assure you this book is no joke. It is action packed with secrets, lies, revelations, mystery, angst, humour, and so much more. Strap in cause you are in for one hell of a ride.
I love each of these characters, everyone of them hold a piece of my heart, they balance each other out perfectly with their banter, loyalty and trust. I found myself laughing at inappropriate times, screaming at the book then closing it, just to curse myself for doing that and not know what was going to happen next.
You may want to have some tissues, chocolate or ice cream on stand by. My heart was torn out, stomped on them glued together and pushed back in my chest. For it to be destroyed again at the end. I can’t wait for ‘Awakened Magic’ to see how the pack are going to get out of this horrible situation they are in.
With Sadie and Donovan trying to figure out how to survive her father's lies and his army of supernaturals, they've gotten themselves into quite a pickle. It isn't until they are faced with a life or death situation that they realize just how dangerous their world can get.
The beginning of this book brings us back to the horrifying situation these characters found themselves in at the end of the first book. They're still on the run, but the dynamics have changed. And Sadie is learning that she is stronger than she thought she was, which makes what she has to do that much more exciting. That ending though...
This author's writing improves with each story she brings to her readers. Her characters are headstrong and are learning to navigate a world they didn't realize was as extensive as they're discovering. The situations become more exciting, and the characters become so engrossing that we just want to know each of their stories. I think the author could spend some serious time in this world before she's brought all of them to a satisfying end. I'm looking forward to finding out how this one concludes.
Holy unholy alpha vibes happening right here! Forget what you think you know, things are becoming even more interesting! Jen L. Grey is writing one unputdownable series that will keep you guessing.
This unputdownable book picks up right from where we left off in Hidden Mate. The danger is amped up and the plot exponentially thickens! The twists keep coming right until the very end. We're left with a frightening cliffhanger and while I know the next book can't take us along this dark path, I'm slightly worried and even more anxious.
This twisty world has wolf shifters, dragon shifters, witches, vampires and fae! It's the whole paranormal/fantasy beings coming out to play! Am I the only one sincerely hoping that book 3 will take us into the fae lands!? Buckle up and prepare yourself for the emotional rollercoaster that Sadie can't seem to disembark from.
As a middle book in a trilogy I expected this to be a little slow but even with all the background info and revelations, it was still a good pace. There was still a good amount of action, though I felt the actual meat of the story was a little stretched out (i.e. it could have been split into 2 books instead of 3). I enjoyed the twists the author gave us and I have more questions after this cliffy than in book 1, but I know we are just building to a dramatic finish. The relationships in this story develop fast and hard with just a bit of conflict. Once again I really enjoyed the narration. Sarah is doing a great job and I'm really interested to see how this all plays out in book 3 and if my predictions will come true. 3/5 story, 4/5 narration ❤️🎧❤️
Wow! I loved the first book, but this one blew me away. Family secrets never stay buried long and this book is chock full of them. Sadie and Donovan are trying to figure out how to get away from Tyler's lies and betrayals while also learning that Sadie's entire life has been a lie. And that brutal cliffhanger... Thank goodness I already have book 3 ready to go!
AHHH! How dare you end it there?! Book 3 can’t get here fast enough. Wonder who will get the honor of ending Brock and Tyler. I don’t think I’ve wanted 2 characters to be eliminated as much as them.
This book has some fantastic twists and turns, some great plot points and a shockingly good cliffhanger. I am loving the friendship dynamics developing between this little pack, the vampires and Egan. I can appreciate the cliffhanger ending BUT I still curse the anticipation. I still love the writing and can’t wait for the finale!
O.. my... god... this book did not disappoint!! . . .
Sadie and her gang can't catch a break.. hiding from tyler while fighting the fae this book is non stop action.. Sadie learns new things about her past and many lies are uncover!!
The ending will leave you speechless 🤯🤯!! That cliffhanger might hunt you until the last book comes out lol.
And also... can't say this enough.... I hate Brock 😡

Jen has become one of my favorite authors. This book has so much action, adventure and drama that it kept me hooked the entire time. I cannot get enough of this fabulous series.
I can’t wait to see what happens. It ends on a big clifffff!! Allll the sups in this makes it so much better!! Sadie has a long road ahead of her but I think I’m going to love the end of this series.
That ending has me like 😱 Im exited and scared at the same time! Is about to go down!!! Sadie and her squad is back! It picks right after book one so you must read in order to understand! Donovan and Sadie work out their differences and its explosive! I love her unique friends! Especially EGAN ❤️🤤😍#thatDragonIsmine Love this series!!! I highly recommend it!!
Jen is one of my favorite authors, I've been lucky enough to read quite a few of her books by now, and let me tell you Blood Secrets have the most shocking reveals I have ever seen from Jen, it was all plot twisty goodness and I loved every second of it. Blood Secrets is the second book in the Wolf Born series and things are steadily getting more interesting and certainly has a lot more drama.
Sadie is finding her way without her father's negative way of thinking beating into her brain, she's learning who she is without his influence with the support of her friends. Friends who have become more like family and are willing to stand by her through anything which never proved truer after the events in this book. Sadie is an Alpha now, she is protective of her pack and of her friends, she has good instincts, thinks things through, and is willing to fight tooth and claw (get it, claw, haha) to get the freedom she deserves and to keep those she loves safe.
That includes Sadie's mate Donovan, who has been in nothing but danger since the moment Sadie's father, Tyler, knew of his existence. He may have survived the attack but Donovan is going through a lot and I will admit he was a bit of a jerk for a second he starts to take everything in stride and is adapting to the supernatural world and is willing to do anything to protect Sadie and stay by her side. The bond between them is growing and they are closer than ever.
Roxy is still the quirky best friend who is a smart alec with no filter but has Sadie's back and always will. Roxy is the sense of humor in the group and her banter with Lillith is still good but now she has a new partner in Axel. Seriously it seems that Fate had it right pairing those two. Funnily enough, Axel has done a complete one-eighty since becoming a wolf shifter, before he was angry, sullen, and had plenty of issues, now he seems lighter, happier than before. I'm glad he and Donovan were able to get that peace, to have a place to be happier.
Throughout the course of this book Lillith, Katherine, Egan, and the rest have gotten incredibly close. The banter, the comfortableness is something you normally have with people that you've been with for a while and Lillith and Katherine's nest manages to bring that feeling as well, it was great seeing everyone fall together. Is it bad to say that my favorite character is still Egan? I love the dragon shifter, and after this book, he has an even bigger piece of my heart.
Blood Secrets was a fun and quick read that had plot twist after plot twist. I didn't see half of them coming and now I have a few questions about a lot of things. There were new characters some I liked, one I didn't, and there are a few in the middle. Lots of drama and action but a really big secret was hinted at towards the end and I have a pretty good guess what it is. Then there is the mega-cliffhanger Jen left readers with that has me dying for the third and final book in Sadie's story. Up next is Awakened Magic.
Blood Secrets The Wolf Born Trilogy, Book 2 By: Jen L. Grey Narrated by: Sarah Puckett
Jen L. Grey continues to wow me with her second book of the “Wolf Born” series, this book picks up right where the first one ended and I highly recommend starting the series with that book, “Hidden Mate” it is a not to be missed story and it lays down the foundation for the rest of the series. We saw what Sadie’s father, Alpha of the Tyler pack, did to Donovan and Axel at the end of the first book and what Sadie did to stand up to her father. Frantic to save Donovan and Axel and to get them to safety she goes with her two vamp friends, Lillith and Katherine to their vampire nest. Their families are fairly welcoming and are helpful with Donovan and Axel’s transition. Unfortunately more problems arise in the form of the Fae, they want Sadie dead and have made several attempts to make that happen. They also run into more wolf shifters and someone she was shocked to find out was not dead. Having to fight the FAE and Tyler’s Wolves is taking a toll on them and even help from others they are still at a disadvantage in both strength and numbers. A lot goes on in this book, past secrets are revealed and truths uncovered, it is an action packed fast pace story with plenty of drama, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments, some thrilling suspense and a bonding romance. Jen L. Grey, thank you for another amazing story and that mind blowing ending, I am looking forward to what happens next.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Sara Puckett stellar performance continues as she brings these characters and their story to life. She is a versatile voice artist who is outstanding at covering both the male and female roles, giving each their own distinct voice sounding believable in every role she plays. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. Sarah Puckett is a natural talent and her entertaining storytelling enhances an already great story to another level of greatness. Thank you for another exceptional listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Noooooo!! There’s nothing worse than stopping at a climax! Ah!!! Good thing the next book in the series is already out! Here is a quick re-cap and my full two cents.
Quick Re-cap:
Crud, I don’t remember where the last book left off. So forgive me if I include things from book 1.
Sadie denounces Tyler as her alpha and creates her own pack with Axel, Donovan, and Roxie. Tyler attacks Axel and Donovan and they’re on the brink of death, so Sadie and Roxie turn them into full wolf shifters.
Sadie, the vampires and her pack escape to Lillith’s home. While there, Sadie meets a neighboring pack who knows about her history and fills her in about her past. Also, the Fae come searching to kill Sadie.
All this culminated in Sadie being taken by Brock and Tyler again.
My two cents:
I need to get back to this series. I seriously can’t put it down. So let’s make this fast!
I’m curious how this will wrap up in one more book. There are currently a lot of loose ends. I can’t wait to read it though!
There were fewer grammar and editing issues with this book. Yay!
I loved Sadie meeting the new pack and the explanation on her weird new powers. I also loved that now Donovan and Axel are full shifters too.
There were some good sex scenes.
Overall, this is still a great series! Now excuse me while I go finish it! Happy reading y’all!!
Sadie's story continues in the second book in the series, Blood Secrets. (Note: Please read series in order because each book takes off where the previous left.)
This series keeps getting better with each twist, turn and OMG that didn't just happen moments. The action, chemistry, and laugh out loud moments will keep you turning the pages just to see what will the group of friends deal with next. Read to find out what happens when Sadie and Roxy form their own pack away from Tyler while they deal with the intensity of mating bonds, and everyone has to face the fact that the past isn't always left in the past.
Heads up that the cliffhanger ending will either make you mad or anxious for the next book to come out. It is that good.
I this second installment, we find out: ~ If Donovan and Adel make it out alive & shift... ~ who the father is.... ~ What really happened to her mother... ~ Why the fea are.after her. ... ~ Can the withstand TBE fea and hide her magic...
Questions remains: ~ How is she so powerful and not know how to use her magic.... ~ Will she mate with Donovan... ~ Who exactly is Rook... ~ To what relation is the fea at college to her... ~ Will she be forced to mate at the Alpha who raised her demands....

After Brock and Tyler had vampires attack Donovan and Axel and are bundled in the van, Sadie takes drastic measures as Lilith speeds toward home with them, Roxy and Egan. As Sadie and Roxy fret, Donovan and Axel awaken as changed men and quickly adapt to living with vampires. But as the team practices their wolf form, fae attack and the team howls for help.
Help arrives only it isn’t the expected vampires who answer, it’s a powerful alpha with several strong warriors. Debating if this pack is friend or foe becomes irrelevant when it’s clear the alpha female has ties to Sadie. Unfortunately, Sadie has a little problem that requires a trip back to campus and despite putting up a good fight, Brock speeds off with Sadie intent on their mating! Rating: 3.75stars
Sadie, Donovan, Axel, Roxy and the others are back and on the run. Hiding with Katherine and Lillith's family, but in the woods there is a big secret and when it comes to light things get a little messed. They have to figure out why the Fae is after her, keep away from Tyler and Brock will they succeed or will they be found out? Holy cow did this book have more twist and unexpected turns than I could keep up with. I was pulled right in and by the end my mind was completely out of sorts. I wanted to throw my Kindle with this one and I so can't wait to read the next one. Absolutely mind blowing
Time is running out fast. Her fated mate and his best friend are dying.
Can they be saved?
This is the second book in the wolf born trilogy directly continuing from book one hidden mate.
Mystery and mayhem, evil doings and deadly enemies all circle around the friends.
Each and every chapter is full of action and suspence.
The romance was a little lacking for me personally but I can deal with that.
Sadie and Donovan, Axel and Roxy. They make a good team. I had hoped that their relationships might of grown, and developed but maybe that's for book three.
I found this series through Kindle Unlimited, and it does not disappoint! All the books are a fun, keep you on your toes, quick reads, and I can't help but want more as I continue to read them!
I loved Hidden Mate, but Blood Secrets was even better! Finding out Sadie's actual heritage, and about her mother was my favorite! Of course, her connection to Donavan is steamy, yet sweet, and I find myself wanting to read more!
Would love to see a Roxy and Axel trilogy, not sure if there is one? I just downloaded Egan's trilogy, and will start that once I finish this trilogy. Who doesn't love a sexy, yet insanely sweet, kind, and protective dragon?!

DNF at 70%. I tried with this book. I really did. The first one wasn't this amazing read, but it had potential but this book just falls flat. The new characters that are introduced don't work in my opinion. The big "shock" which I will say was a surprise gets ruined with how the characters react to it. Now she's dealing with the fae coming after her and she thinks she can manage with her little tiny pack, the vampires, and another pack that she doesn't really trust?? Plus I don't see the chemistry between the two sets of mates. Like dudes were both dead a minute ago, are now shifters with mates, and after one of them has a brief freak out they are totally cool. I just don't get it.
Oh yeah, Now we are getting to the meat and potatoes. The gang had a few hiccups In the beginning but managed to overcome them. Now they are working as a team with a few new characters that were unexpected to say the least. She goes to the one Fae that she knows and gets caught by the bad guys, because she was trying to hide her magic from the fae who are trying to kill her. Now she is in the hands of her tyrannical father and there is no telling what will happen next. I can’t wait for the next book!
