First of all, Tunhai and Poyun are among the best books I've ever read. As opposed to Poyun, though, this one had me more emotional because of Wu Yu's story. I think he might be one of the best described characters ever, so much so that I feel like I've known him personally.

I really really really enjoyed this novel! Very solid sequel and as expected from Huai Shang. Wu Yu is such a well written character and while with Po Yun I somehow was bewitched by Yan Xie and his explosive personality, in this sequel my heart was stolen by Wu Yu. The action kept me on the edge of my seat ALL. THE. TIME! Although I found the romance pretty slow but, in my opinion, it was worth it :,).
