Very comprehensive, with more practice problems than you could ever hope to solve. Can’t say I really referred back to this textbook often, but the fact my introductory chemical engineering class ripped most of its content straight from here speaks to its quality.

This textbook was amazing for understanding basic mass balances. Chapter four was very detailed and I used it to learn the material throughout my entire mass balances class. However, chapter five was confusing. It didn’t give thorough explanations like in the previous chapters and kind of just assumed you understood. Other than that I’d say it’s a great textbook, very thorough and breaks down complex topics.
