"Cruel as a Cat" is the fourth Emmanuel Cellini mystery written by John Creasey under the pseudonym Kyle Hunt. The first, "Cunning as a Fox," published by Macmillan in 1965, was an immediate and resounding success. It was followed by "Wicked as the Devil" and "Sly as a Serpent."

if i want a fast, solid triller/mystery, Creasy is always a winner for me, dated mind you, but as 50-60 genre material great stuff.
as an aspiring writer that wants to do a study on a style that allows you to pump out 500-800 novels in a lifetime and keep quality up this guy makes Patterson look like a lazy hack.
