I loved this book couldn't put it down. Princess Sarila Tendrum ran away from home six years ago because she was tired oh hearing her parents argue all the time, and also when she saw Kasar who she was betrothed to kiss someone else and broke her heart. Sarila worked as a teacher and loved her students, but one day Kasar found her to take her back home. Sarila didn't want to marry Kasar and Kasar didn't want to marry Sarila so they both agree to spent two weeks on his ship and when they arrived they would both tell their parents that they want to break the contract. After spending the two weeks together something changed between them and they both now didn't wan't to break the contract, but they didn't tell each other that so each assumed that the other still wanted to live seperate lives.
This was a very good book. The h and H had been betrothed since they were children, she ran away when she was 18 because she was in love with the H but didn’t believe he could be faithful or love her. Also she thought her parents had a bad marriage because of their arguments but that was not the case. The H came to find her so they could break the contract but along the way they fell in love with each other. My only complaint is no epilogue.
I loved this book. I couldn’t put it down. I loved Kasar and Sarila. I would have loved an epilogue, though it did not need any. Kasar was very understanding and always paid attention to Sarila. Perfect guy. He never forced her and was always willing to compromise. I say, it is a perfect union. Sarila managed to get her iews across without being submissive.
The main thing that in liked about this book is the fact that not of the main characters were willing to look beyond what they thought they knew about each other.
Love this book. I enjoyed reading this story. This is about two people falling in love and finding out that they have so much in common. Sarila ran away 6 years ago to avoid an arrange marriage to Kasar. But now he has come to take her home to convince their parents that they are not a suitable match. So Kasar sets up for him and Sarila to take his ship back to their country. Its going to take two weeks. During this time they hang out together and they both start to have feelings for each other but both are too afraid to let the other know. It was almost too late before they expressed there feeling and now they will live happily ever after.
This was a great story. The Hero and Heroine had been betrothed since they were quite young, but the Heroine ran away to America when she was 18 to avoid the marriage. It wasn't that she didn't think the Hero was hot, but she wasn't ready for marriage and was also upset that he was seeing women besides her. The story starts when he comes to get her so they can get the betrothal contract set aside. Their parents wanted them to spend some time together, then would consider setting it aside if they couldn't work out their relationship. The plan for them to spend time together is on a 2 week cruise on his yacht.
Like most couples, you don't appreciate what or who you have until it's too late. In this cute romantic tale, the future Queen has the courage to put her heart on the line and tell her man she truly loves him. What she failed to see was clearly apparent to everyone else, that he loved her too.
The missing Bride was only misplaced. This is a story with many twists &turns based on apparent misunderstandings & poor communication. Nice ending, though she never did get him to promise to be faithful...then again that may have been redundant.
Sometimes he's kasar others he's kadar... If you dismiss everything that's relates to the Arabic culture cus it was wrong and pretty much far away from reality, the plot is pretty interesting and simple
I rated this book 5 stars because it was a sweet Nd romantic story. The characters were very well written. As with all her books it always leaves me wanting more. I have read quite a few of her books and they are all very very good. Recommend highly.
