This is a terrible story with a horrible, manipulative, manwhore of a hero who seems to think that kissing other women within 24 hours of getting engaged is his due, an OW who not only abuses the heroine but the heroine's horse with total impunity, and a heroine who was likable and sympathetic until she cried out that she would not condescend to fight with her rival because she is a "dago."

Fail at every level!!!

This is one very cute little book about a marriage of convenience between half cousins. It was a sweet story that I can sum up in a few words hero in disguise, and heroine needs to grow up.

Sweet old school harlequin with a very innocent heroine who got on my nerves too often!

Good one, quite a simple one really. 19 year old girl brought up by her grand dad in an isolated Cornish castle. When grand dad dies, the girl is directionless. But granddad makes a provision in the will for a male cousin to inherit the castle and pick up the girl in the bargain, as a wife. Sounds somewhat callous, but very well intentioned.

The girl is preparing herself for Part 2 of her previous life but this time with cousin Mark, assuming he is a middle aged uncle type good samaritan. But our cousin is actually a drop dead gorgeous hunk, and half Latin to boot! Obviously perfect hero material :)

Now the only twist in the story is that he doesn't present himself to the girl until quite late. However, he does steal her heart much before while appearing in disguise. So when the disguise ends, she is miffed and also disillusioned by his actual identity. Her disappointment is quite justified.

The guy on the other hand seems quite smitten right from their chance anonymous first meeting. He has been keeping a protective eye on her all along. Finally, when all confusions are cleared, he does make a charming lover and super husband. Jackpot catch !!

I was really looking forward to reading this one but unfortunately the hero wasn’t great.

Gee! this was my first romance novel! I got it from a friend I was not old enough (according to my mother) and the book suddenly dissapear from my bookcase! I'd love to read it now in English, since my copy was in Spanish but it's really hard to get.

J'ai beaucoup aimé ce livre, mais j'ai toujours été un peu gêné par le fait qu'elle épouse son cousin...
J'ai toujours trouvé ça incestueux....
