James Earl Jones was an American actor known for his film roles and for his work in theatre. Jones has been described as "one of America's most distinguished and versatile" actors for his performances on stage and screen. He has also been called "one of the greatest actors in American history". He was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 1985. He was honoured with the National Medal of Arts in 1992, the Kennedy Center Honor in 2002, the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2009, and the Honorary Academy Award in 2011.

Okay, so it was only the New Testament, and I think I was only truly listening for about 2/3 of it. This was rented from the library.

Sorry James Earl Jones, but the narration was a little monotone sometimes, and the volume in the recording seemed to get louder for no apparent reason occasionally.

The New Testament is the second part of the Bible, sometimes referred to as The Good News, the Word of God, and God’s Word. I highly recommend reading the Bible.

I tried the drama audio Bible's. For me this is perfect. No extra donkey noises, or murmuring crowds, or the sounds of a weak pleading Jesus and disciples. Just good ol Bible delivery. Been through it a few times on long car rides, and in my headphones.

It's the best way to fall asleep when you're having trouble. The recording is a little fast, I slow down the pace.
