Jane:
You are my favourite character throughout this entire series.
i love how you think and what you do.
Amazing.
Harry:
You're such a cutie and i love how you've grown up since the first book.
Such a strong character and i just want to give him a hug.
Anna:
I love you.
Love your big heart.
Love what you do even when you know you are running out of time.
Just. Beautiful.
Luca:
You changed so much from the first book! Seriously?! I just want to slap you to knock some sense into you. Thankfully, you find yourself again.
Jack:
Honestly? You kinda annoyed me.
Seriously, i know you're in love with Mia and all but stop being so over-protective. Geez! Chill.
But i'm glad to admit you got better towards the end and i started to like you more and more.
Mia:
Okay. Just like your BF you need to relax woman! Stop having temper tantrums!
You're a little harsh and sometimes annoying but i like you. You have spunk.
Why i loved this book:
This is book is just, indescribably amazing from start to finish! Perfect story. Perfect characters.
Another reason i love this series? Fern and Altor. Want charming, funny and handsome? Fern is for you. Want haunted, irresistibly sexy, and smart mouthed? Altor is all that. Personally i want to at moments kiss or slap Altor, but he grows on you. Alot.
Read this book and i promise you wont be disappointed!

I can't even.
I can't even breathe right now.
This book has broken me and I am absolutely devastated that I will never read book 3 because it's out of print.
This, despite the fact of the third book, is one of the best series I've ever read.
I will never be okay and will be broken because of this.
And you know what?
It's okay the third book is not out because guess what, i’m making my own story up because I can:
Jane, you marry Fern. He loves you and became the man he promised to be.
Altor you find love from Elixia and become who you really were all along- kind, caring and brave.
Mia, your kingdom is thriving and you are a magnificent queen, your husband Tye thinks so too.
Harry, Satine loves you more than you ever knew and Altor is delighted to have you as a father.
Jack, you found a wife and you're now settled down living your best life.
Anna and Locktar are happy together and would never want it to be anyone else but them looking out for the people.
And Luca, dear Luca, you're fingers healed over time and you then picked up the guitar for the first time in years.

All I can say is I can't wait for installment 3. The second book of the series is much darker, as second books often are, but no less brilliant. Lots of romance, pain and heartbreak, as well as epic battles and bitter betrayals. some new and interesting characters too...

What a good read. I cannot say how intriguing this book was!!

I just finished book 2 and cannot wait for book 3 to come out :)

Something new or unexpected happens on every page and the constant perspective changes adds to the excitment of the book.

This book is filled with romance and action. The characters are likable. It is definetly a must have for any fantasy book lover!!

Descent is a lot darker than arrival. In addition to the creatures present in the first book, descent also has Valkyries, mind-links, Harpies, Pixies and Satyrs. Many if not all the characters are struggling to find peace after the war while dealing with the new threat Valkyries. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this book is pure pain. I absolutely adored Altor and Luca and just wanted them to be happy.
I also loved how two and half years have past so we get to see how Anna, Harry, Luca and Jane have changed while being stuck in a fantasy world. There were so much love (or at least infatuations) it was quite peculiar but I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
Descent was a bit slower than Arrival and focused more on relationship and character development.
It sucks there's no third book. However, Arrival and Descent were still absolutely amazing

I finally finished this book (uni just gets in the way of my reading ugh). IT WAS SO GOOD!! I loved every second of it!! I am so impressed how McConaghy is able to handle so many different characters and events.
The only problem with this book is that Mia's story wasn't really complete, but I assume this was to be further explored in the next book, WHICH IS NEVER COMING OUT unfortunately. I wish there was a 3rd book. This series was so good, it deserves to be completed!

I borrowed Arrival & Descent at the same time, but when I wanted to add Descent onto my bookshelf, the book wasn't in the system yet. = = Now it is!
