(FROM JACKET) "Money can't buy happiness." Fancy's heard that one before. And she still doesn't buy it-no matter how many times it's been proven in her own life. Take, for instance, her doomed relationship with wealthy Byron, or Harry, or Adam...and they're just for starters. But with Darius, things are going to be different. This time Fancy's going to get to know the man before she gets too intimate with him...then she'll get her share. Too bad she doesn't know Darius is no longer on top-financially, anyway. As far as relationships go, Darius has a past of his own. Currently, he's praying that he isn't the father of estranged wife Ciara's expected baby-or anyone else's. Even if he were interested in fatherhood, he can't afford it. His wealthy parents have taken control of his business. With his bank accounts dwindling, Darius is forced to make some big changes....
This book was pretty good and filled with lots of surprises and the ending left me hanging on the edge of my seat and now I can't wait to start reading the next book, When Somebody Loves You Back. It seems that Darius and Fancy's relationship grew really fast, but I'm happy that they found each other. I was a little shocked by how Wellington treated Jada in this book and was totally not expecting for their relationship to get to the point that it did, but overall I was satisfied with this book and am ready to start the next one to find out what happens next.
its amazing how both Fancy and Darius met a psychic woman that told them about their future and what would happen. They both develop strong everlasting feelings for one another and is going to get married. Everything is going well for Fancy and Darius now that Darius is a professional NBA basketball player and got his company back from his stepfather. But Darius gets a disturbing call from his ex girlfriend that their baby died from HIV complications.
This book was good. I Liked the ending where they were chasing the criminal. It was very suspenseful and it was sad what happened to Noah. It felt like he was my best friend. I Still didn't like Nicole. She was too nosey and always worrying. I wish Justine had never died in teh first one. He was still obviously in love with Justine and no one could ever take her place.
