terrific BDSM

This is one of Shanna Handel’s Bachman Mafia Romances and I really liked it a lot. I have read a large number of Shanna’s Bachman Mafia books and I always enjoy them quite a lot. This one has a story that is a little different than others in the series, but I got into it and I liked the smutty scenes as well as the bit of action and danger. The story flowed nicely and there was a really nice HEA at the end.

Ahhh! No!

The h has a crush for her boss, said boss get married, she gets a new boss in the company!
Again crushes on the boss, boss again gets married!
She's decided to leave the company and find out that everyone knows of the 1st and 2nd boss crushes!!! *Insert most cringy, embarrassing moment ever*

Then she states and I quote:
"What I really, really want? To be one of them. To belong to this amazing, chaotic, powerful group of people. I want to be a Beauty, which is what they call the wives of the Bachman men."

Really??? So she doesn't want a relationship, she wants the status and privilege that "the family" brings... And I'm out...

ASHLEY’S HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER STORY

The story is an addition to the various Bachman family tales. This time, Ashley will find her happily ever after. She thinks maybe she needs to move on, away from the Bachmans, but Tess refuses to allow that to happen. (Don’t forget, Tess is a romantic—and matchmaker!)

Ashley: It’s not that I want to leave the family—I just need a change.
Tess: I’ll give you a change. But you’re not leaving the family. I won’t allow it. We need strong women like you.
Ashley: I just don’t know.
Tess: Ashley, do you trust me?
Ashley: Yes. One hundred percent.
Tess: Don’t be mad. Promise?
Ashley: What is it, Tess?
Tess: Nothing bad—I may have overstepped, though.
Ashley: Just tell me. Please.
Tess: I knew you were going to try and quit, to leave the family. We just can’t afford to lose you. You’re too valuable. You’re coming to work for me. It’s settled. And that’s final.

The story is about Boston ‘Boss’ Sullivan Bachman and Ashley. He has seen her at some of the Bachman events, and she knows of him. But Boston is a jaded man and has sworn off relationships. But when Ashley shows up at the Sullivan Valentine’s Gala as Sailor’s date, Boston sabotages them and steals Ashley away for a night of his pleasure in a secret room.

Ashley: What is that?
Boss: It’s where the good girls go to be bad.

Ashley is excited about her new position with Tess, but in the second week, things change, and she finds herself with Boss—as her new boss. She isn’t happy, and things take some twists and turns.
Ashley: I do know one thing. I need you to stop trading me around like I’m a worthless object.
Boss: Worthless? I trade for you because you’re the best. And I want the best.

The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly. Secrets of the past that shape the future will involve several people. The chemistry between Ashley and Boss is intense, and yet, she doesn’t want to allow her heart to become involved and get hurt again---been there, done that twice, no thank you. But, when you are with the right person, it is worth going out of your comfort zone and grabbing the brass ring. While we don’t actually see what Ashley’s brother, Beckett, decides about his future—I think this is a Bachman man in the making.

Boston! 🥵 That's the name that'll be engraved in your mind after reading this book. Now I have read plenty of books with dominating men but Boston was on another level. From the beginning of the book we have some semi non-con but also consensual sexy scenes going on. I mean the first spicy scene had me ready to dive into Ashley's and Boston's story even more. While Boston was a great mmc to read about can we as a beauties community rave about the fact that Ashely finally gets her happily ever after story!! We have been waiting some time for this story and I am so happy that we've gotten it and it was such a great read. Seeing Boston tame Ashely in a way was so good! It was like opposites attracting and I loved every minute of it. Ashely is this sweet lady with a semi hidden dark side to her and Boss it definitely the bad boy that every girl wants. Boss has a way of bringing Ashely's bad side out to play and I think it suits her very well. This book has everything you would want in it: Dominate man that's drool worthy, spicy scenes (semi noncon), praise (good girl bad girl), and a hea that was worth the wait. I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series so you can be more invested in the characters and the Bachman men but just know you are liable to fall deeply in love with the beauties and Bachman men! 😍😜

I thoroughly enjoyed the plot, the characters are so well written guaranteeing you’ll be captivated
This was a simply wonderful read I thought the writing was simply splendid and I love to see the interaction of the characters and if there is one thing that Shannah Handel excels at in her writing it is in Mafia interactions.

Once I started reading this wonderful book it was impossible to put it down until I discovered what the outcome was going to be, I do not want to spoil the plot for other readers so I will be careful about what I write.

The two characters Ashely and Boston have a strong connection to each other but their interactions and chemistry is extremely intense but both have known that the harshness that every day life brings. They are ideal partners for each other and their physical bodies know this by their brains are fighting every step of the way.

This was a wonderful read and I am sure that you’ll be completely blown away by these characters and the story which will captivate you, I guarantee it.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Finally Ashley gets a real chance at a Bachman who is actually interested in her as a person, rather than as a Personal Assistant. The problem is, she is not sure she wants the kind of interest or the amount of interest that Boston is putting out there. It all started very strangely, in what can best be described at the most unusual initial face to face meeting imaginable! He practically date rapes her, on a non-date, with very dubious consent. However, subtle internal sparks fly for both of them and an unconventional relationship begins and the pages begin to explode with excitement, humor, angst and twists and turns that you will never see coming. There is a lot of family involved, over and above the Bachman clan itself, with some really surprise revelations that will make you love them all the more. A great read with lots of discipline (good girl and bad girl), lots of sex, and even more (off the beaten track) romance. One last note, if you’ve read any of the more recent Bachman books you will remember that Ashley is an event planner extraordinaire, but you will never believe what she dreamed up for her latest one (a very personal event). 5 Stars *****

Ashely is the best personal assistant around, with one flaw. She falls in love with the men she works for, even though she knows she isn't the right woman for them. Then, she plans their weddings. It's rough. She longs for her own happily ever after. Boss, having taken a vow of eternal bachelorhood, wants Ashely the moment he sees her in her frumpy black dress at Nikolaos's wedding. He does everything he possibly can to get to her, and then he kidnaps her. When he falls for her, he falls hard. There is not and never has been another woman for him. When Ashely is welcomed as one of the Bachman Beauties, her dreams come true.

This is a story I waited (somewhat) patiently for. Ashely so deserved to be happy, and Boss, the eternal bad boy, brings out the best in her. Opposites do attract, and it is a thing of beauty here. This book is incredibly well written, with characters that leap off the page into your heart. Shanna Handel is one of the best in the Mafia genre, and this is just one more example of why. The tender scenes are sweet, but the spicy ones? Kindle melting all the way. Boss and Ashely are absolutely worth the one click.

This book is crazy good! These two characters (Ashley and Boston) are complete opposites but it works in such a good and smexy way. This is just the perfect Bachman story and I am so glad that Ashley finally got her man and what a man she got, oh boy!

We know Ashley from 2 other stories, always getting her heart broken but Tess sets her straight and she takes a chance and that chance leads her to Boss. Boss on the other hand has already noticed Ashley and he becomes obsessive and possessive and well, he always gets what he wants. The way they officially meet is so great and funny at the same time. Have to be vague here because it is fun to be surprised.

Can't wait for the next book, looks like another winner.

This was an amazing story. I couldn't put this story down. I couldn't wait to see what happened next between Boston and Ashley. I have been a huge fan of Shanna Handel and her Bachman series since the beginning. Just when I think it can't get any better, she publishes a new story. I loved the interactions between Boston and Ashley. Ashley has been known for falling for her bosses before they find their woman. She was going to leave but Tess Bachman has other plans. Boston Bachman saw Ashley and knows that he wants her. Ashley and Boston are going to see a site for an event when he 'kidnaps' her to protect her. Their relationship is going to change again. Will Boston be able to convince her that they are great together?

I'd have to say this is one of my favorites of Shanna Handel's stories. I couldn't put the book down, she did a wonderful job on it, the plot was strong, it's packed with a lot, the characters were strong, the story was written well. From the beginning Ashely and Boston were drawn to each other, the attraction was strong between them, their chemistry was off the charts, it was intense and sizzling, they were perfect together but nothing comes easy, their path had many obstacles but they were fighters. They're made for each other.
This is a great story, I'd recommend reading it.
I can't wait to read more.

Shanna Handel's books just go from strength to strength. This book had it all: laughter, tears, falling for the boss (more than one boss, too), off-the-charts chemistry, and a wicked sense of humor--oh and not to forget, he's a Bachman :) I loved the way that not only the two "met" but also everything he did to get the chance to make her his. A crazy man, that's for sure. He wasn't wanting a woman until he met "the one", and then all he wanted was to make her his in every sense of the word. I loved this book, but I can say that about all the Bachman books, but this one I really enjoyed a great deal. Bring on the next one!

This is a well written story that reads more like a spicy Agatha Christy story with secrets revealed at the end. But don't miss the middle because you will miss the growing hot and spicy relationship between Ashley and Boston. All the characters are well done, real. As is typical with the Backman family stories there are glitzy parties and sexy couples. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. Enjoy reading this family story full of family protecting each other.

I've been looking forward to Ashley's story and wondering who her forever man would be. Never in a million years could I have imagined a more perfect match for her. Ashe is smart, put together and outgoing. She loves fiercely and needed someone who could receive that love. Boston is hot and alpha and gets what he wants. This guy does not take no for an answer but is also patient with Ashley. Their connection is one that will last a lifetime. And the way they both love their siblings is icing on the cake. I will forever love the Bachman's.

Ashely and Boss are quite the duo!

He wants her, but he doesn't want to want her .. but then when he sees her out on a date with another guy.. he loses his mind. He doesn't care what it costs, he's going to negotiate so that he'll let her go and Boss can have her as his own.

Boss is quite the Dom and Ashely hasn't found her place of comfort over the last couple of books, but she finds it here.. in Boss' bed, arms, and heart.

I really enjoy this series and I'll be honest, I'm not really into mafia storylines... but once I was in the Village, I was a goner!

Baughman transplant. I liked that the way Boss de-stresses is to bake. Awww!!! Some really dirty playtime scenes that had me laughing, crying, and melting. I love how Ashe thought she was the big sis taking care of little bro Beckett, but we find out the real story later on. From the epilogue , it looks like more secrets are about to unfold. It's never a dull time with the Baughmans. Looking forward to much more to come.

This has to be one of my favourites from the series Boston is my new book husband. The connection between Ashely and Boston is electric and fierce. The way he wants her is utter perfection. I knew as always that this book would be great, but i literally read this in one sitting. I was obssessed! I absolutely recommend this book and the whole series, Shanna never lets us down with the dominant alpha males, who make you fall in love with them. Their absolute love for their women is perfection 😭😍

I have always loved this world of Bachman’s and their Beauties. Each book further solidifies my love for them. This book was nothing like the previous books yet their story fit right in as though it had already been written years ago and was just waiting to come home. These characters did things their way the entire story and I loved the journey they took me on. I can’t wait to read the next book. Great storytelling.

What can I say? I love any Bachman. They have a story that will leave you screaming for more always😊 Ashely has a story that just melts your heart, but don't be deceived this girl has nrves of steel she just doesn't know it, until Boss comes into her life and wow electricity, I mean these are two people who don't want people as such. Hang on to your hat the train has left that station. Fabulous read for me. I voluntarily reviewed this book.

I have to admit, I almost passed it up. I love the Bachman world and this book didn't look like it was part of it, but it is! We met Ashley, who has a tendency to fall for (lust after) her bosses in the previous book. This is her story - and the story of Boston, her new boss. As always, it was easy to get drawn into their story, the characters are likeable, the story moves along, there is very little violence, just the suggestion of what could happen.

Ashley and Boston have a great book . This book is where Ashley has had crushes on her past bosses ,but when she sent to be Boston assistance and she thinks here we go again,but she and Boston go through a hairy time that could go either way. This has a lot of hot season with a b little bit of drama in it and the most cute part in the book is with the animals. I can't wait to read Beckett book too see trouble he can get in.

cute, light mafia

No violence, no triggers.
This mafia is so good, we don’t even know what they do to be called a “mafia”.
This is the 2nd book I read by this author and this world. Unlike the other book I read, this one was so enjoyable and entertaining, that I smiled throughout, and finished in one session.
The main H character was funny, even though he was seemingly scary looking. The heroine, sassy and intelligent. I loved the banter and the animal’s interwoven.

I loved this one so much it was addicting I couldn't get enough of Boston and Ashley she was everything I wanted. Wicked fun, saucey, and Boston brought that out in her, he is one sexy man with a big soft side.
These two had their trials but the banter was so good and pushing bounties, I laughed and melted, so much chemistry. And the wedding reception genius It was amazing.

Oh wow this book took my breath away! It is so good and you can not go wrong reading it. Boston and Ashley or (Ashe) as he calls her. Are so good together but don’t realize how important they are to each other. To top it all off he is a Bachman man. So you know the book will be good just based on that. Love all the Bachman’s.

The thing about Bachman Series is there’s no expectation vs. reality. What you’re expectations are is what you get. No bs. Great Stories (by now I believed I have read all) and you already know what you’re gonna get.

Ashe & Boston

A few plot holes don't stop this from being just as enticing as the rest of the series. Bad boy Boston & good girl Ashe are a great pair. She's way more organized than I am but otherwise I relate to her on almost every level. Great couple. Boston's first "proposal" was my favorite, it was very HIM.

Things moved very quickly for Boston and Ashley. The writing felt a little lighter than the previous books to me. Ashley is a strong, organized and soft hearted female lead that readers will remember from previous books and root for her happy ending. Boss recognizes her skills and respects her. They are a compatible match and sizzle throughout the story.

Oh my! I must say I definitely thought Boston was going to be a hardcore villain but he's a marshmallow underneath all that gruff and naughty male-ness! So sexy! I think Ashe needed to be pushed out of her comfort zones and Boss was the perfect choice to take her there and beyond!

Love the stories of the Bachman brothers and their beauties - Ashley and Boston’s story was amazing - loved it. Also loved the mentions of Rockland and Tess who I think will always be my favourites. Thoroughly recommend this book.
