"Re-Animator: Tales of Herbert West" is for Re-Animator completists only. This prestige format book reprints the original Herbert West - Reanimator story by H.P. Lovecraft and the half dozen illustrations that accompany Lovecraft's text are every bit as uninspired as the cover. The introductory essay by Stephen Philip Jones is worth reading for fans of the film and the original story.
