Not as good as Adriane on the edge, but an interesting examination of a non-traditional family that's about to grow through marriage.

My wonderful "LA Stories" professor wrote this. It is his first published novel, and I have a special place in my heart for Mandelbaum (MANDELBAUM!), so I read it. It is thoroughly enjoyable throughout, but I don't remember any of it. I think it was about 2 divorcees marrying each other, or a man marrying into a family with kids. If you like Mandelbaum, I highly recommend buying this.

A FOTL sale find. Worth the 50 cents I spent on it, but I had to go back and look at a summary to write this 20 word review. Eh. Tries to hard to be literary.
